It complains that NOAA, whose duties include issuing hurricane warnings, is “one of the main drivers of the climate change alarm industry and, as such, is harmful to future U.S. prosperity.”

Trump called a hastily announced press conference in New York yesterday at which he attempted to change his LIES into reality. It didn't work, as historian Heather Cox Richardson so articulately pointed out below.
Trump reiterated his doomsday vision of the United States as a hellscape. He insisted that the nation’s booming economy is actually hemorrhaging jobs, that the FBI statistics showing crime falling are all lies, and that inflation, which has fallen close enough to the target of 2% that the Fed recently began to lower interest rates, is at an all-time high. He raged against the ABC debate moderators. He recounted in some detail a number of horrific rapes he claimed were committed by immigrants, with no self-consciousness about his own liability for sexual assault that the presiding judge said would commonly be understood as rape. Although the world watched him on live television, Trump bizarrely claimed that he was not at fault for the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol — instead blaming it on Nancy Pelosi. He again took Russian president Vladimir Putin’s side, claiming to be on the side of “humanity” in his desire to end the war, as he has suggested he would do as soon as he takes office in a second term, by permitting Putin to keep the land he wants. The snake oil salesman also advertised that he's now pedaling Trump watches at prices from $499 to $100,000.
Stock in Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent of his Truth Social, has been falling and is now about 82% less valuable than it was in March when it debuted. Today a new regulatory filing showed that one of the biggest investors in the company has sold more than 7.5 million shares.
Also, the highest court in Washington, D.C., disbarred Trump’s former ally Rudy Giuliani today because of his efforts to help Trump try to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Jobs would disappear and inflation would spike under Trump
CNN reported that the Trump agenda would cause weaker economic growth, higher inflation and lower employment, according to a working paper released Thursday by the Peterson Institute for International Economics. In some cases, Trump's damage could last for 15 years, through 2040.
A new analysis finds that Trump's plans for tariffs, deportations and the Federal Reserve would make inflation much worse. Trump's package of policies does more damage to the US economy than to any other in the world. Inflation would climb to 6% by 2026, the researchers found. By 2028, consumer prices would be 20% higher. US gross domestic product (GDP), the broadest measure of economic growth, would be 2.8% lower than otherwise by the end of Trump’s four-year term. The changes proposed by Trump would “cause a large inflationary impulse and a significant loss of employment (particularly in manufacturing and agriculture) in the US economy,” the analysis found. Erosion of Fed independence would cause higher inflation, capital outflows, a significant loss of value for the US dollar and higher unemployment — all of which would “worsen American living standards.”

Trump is showing clear signs of cognitive decline!
The Independent reported that leading mental health experts, including a former White House doctor, have expressed alarm over Trump's mental faculties, suggesting that Trump is showing signs of “cognitive decline.”
Several experts told The Independent that Trump appears to “have lost touch with reality,” as exhibited by the 78-year-old’s “rambling” speeches and “erratic” debate performance. They join a growing number of mental health professionals calling for independent and objective cognitive testing.
Trump's cognitive decline was on full display at this past Monday night’s rally in Pennsylvania, where he was mocked for his “word salads.”
Richard A. Friedman, a professor of psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College, said he was “alarmed” by what he witnessed during Trump’s debate performance on September 10. Friedman said Trump “displayed some striking, if familiar, patterns that are commonly seen among people in cognitive decline.”
Allen Frances, professor and chair emeritus of psychiatry at the Duke School of Medicine as well as the architect of the DSM-IV — the manual for diagnostic criteria of a range of mental disorders, said Trump “has deteriorated a great deal” since he was in office.
Former White House physician Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman, who has cared for Presidents Obama, Bush, and Clinton, said there should be a cap on the age of presidential candidates if they will not agree to undergo objective cognitive assessments.
Dr. Ben Michaelis, a clinical psychologist who has previously carried out cognitive assessments for the New York Supreme Court, agrees. “There’s a term when you’re talking about people with dementia called sundowning, it’s a lot harder for them as the day goes on,” Michaelis said, suggesting it appeared Trump could have been experiencing those symptoms. “It’s very difficult for them to maintain focus on a topic,” he continued. “The idea of being able to maintain that level of focus for that amount of time, that late in the day…you wouldn’t think twice about it if that was your grandfather. It’s just he happens to be running for president.” When it comes to Trump’s rambling speeches, where he has often veered from one unrelated topic to another, Michaelis said it struck him as “logorrhoea” — the Greek word meaning excessive talking — which can be associated with dementia. Trump does this all the time in his rambling speeches, and calls it "the weave." This, of course, is pure bullshit — the reality is that Trump is clearly in cognitive decline.

As The Hill reported, from a hoax about Haitian immigrants eating Ohioans’ cats to the return of fired adviser Corey Lewandowski (and the addition of influencer Laura Loomer), it’s clear Trump’s campaign is running out of ideas. Now it is also running scared from a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
While Trump insisted yet again yesterday that “the economy is doing really, really badly,” the stock market closed at a record high for the fourth day in a row. Trump is a filthy LIAR, and yet his ignorant MAGA Maggot supporters continue to believe his bullshit.
The FBI dealt another blow to Trump’s fantasyland this week with the publication of its annual nationwide crime statistics. They confirmed not only a huge drop in murders, but also a 9.4 percent decline in rapes and a 7.6 percent decline in property crimes. Across almost every metric, crime statistics disagree with Trump’s cries about violence in the streets.
Most Americans are actually doing better now than they were in 2020 under Trump, both financially and personally. Their communities are safer, their retirement portfolios are up, and a growing number feel optimistic about the future. That kind of stability is hostile soil for the seeds of Trumpism. The future of the MAGA movement depends on convincing these voters that a recovery they can feel doesn’t actually exist.

James Carville says Kamala Harris is going to win!
Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville said the 2024 election “just doesn’t feel like a race” that Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, “is gonna lose” to Trump.
“It’s close in the polls, but I’m not convinced that it’s gonna be close on election day,” Carville told CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
Every recent race for the White House, perhaps excluding Barack Obama’s first victory in 2008, had appeared to be on a knife edge until the voting day itself, said Carville.

On Sunday, a bipartisan group of 741 national security leaders — some of the biggest names in the field — endorsed Harris, saying, “This election is a choice between serious leadership and vengeful impulsiveness. It is a choice between democracy and authoritarianism. Vice President Harris defends America’s democratic ideals, while former President Donald Trump endangers them. Vice President Harris would make an excellent Commander-in-Chief, while Mr. Trump has proven he is not up to the job.”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) said Sunday that Trump is “just deranged” after he said women won’t be thinking about abortion if he’s elected in November. “That’s just ludicrous,” Whitmer said in an interview on “State of the Union” with CNN’s Jake Tapper about Trump’s remarks.
Whitmer said Trump doesn’t understand the problems women face every day. She was responding to Trump’s comments at a rally Saturday afternoon, where he said that under him, “Women will be happy, healthy, confident and free. You will no longer be thinking about abortion.”
Trump, the convicted felon and sexual abuser, is completely out of touch with reality. He's lacking in self-awareness, often speaking in long, "word salad" gibberish when attempting to answer media's questions. Mary Trump, Little Donnie's niece and a certified psychologist, said in her new book, "Donald had none of the requisite skills to succeed on his own….his willingness to do anything to fit within his father's mold….made him the recipient of tens of millions of dollars to maintain the illusion of a brilliance that never existed." Mary Trump continued in her interview yesterday on MSNBC, saying that "Donald is someone who has had severe psychiatric disorders for decades that have remained untreated. His nonsense is untranslatable, so what ends up happening because human beings need to make meaning of things is that certain reporters and journalists end up imbuing Donald's meaningless statements with meaning so they don't seem as dangerous and, quite frankly, unhinged as they really are."
So reporters are constantly "sane washing" Trump's insanity.
Trump has peddled baseless rumors that immigrants in Ohio are eating pets. He’s warned that Jewish voters will be to blame if he loses in November. He’s refused to openly condemn Mark Robinson, a protege in the North Carolina gubernatorial contest, who described himself as a “black Nazi” on a porn site. He also reacted to a second apparent assassination attempt by implying that Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats are inviting such attacks when they highlight his refusal to accept his 2020 election loss and say he’s a danger to democracy. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is a Trump lapdog doing Trump's bidding. This past Wednesday Graham met with Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen and around a dozen Republican state lawmakers as Republicans seek a last-minute change to the way the Cornhusker state allocates its electoral votes.
Nebraska and Maine are the only states that don't apportion electoral votes on a winner-take-all basis. Vice President Kamala Harris looks likely to pick up the swing congressional district around Omaha — a single electoral vote which could prove decisive depending on how other swing states break down. So Graham and other Republicans, including Pillen, want to change to a winner-take-all system before November, which would virtually guarantee Trump all of the state's electoral votes.
This is how Republican SCUM works.
If Harris were to win the Blue Wall states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, but lose the Sun Belt swing states, the race would come down to which candidate won that single purple district in Nebraska.
So far, Republicans have failed to gain sufficient support to overcome all the procedural hurdles to making the change to a winner-take-all system, so Harris looks likely to take that one vote blue speck among the red in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District.
Trump lapdog Lindsey Graham is trying to circumvent and change the system in the Republican's favor even before voting has started. He is making a desperate effort to use the Electoral College to keep Harris from reaching the requisite 270 electoral votes to win. It is unusual for a senator from one state to interfere in the election processes in another state, but Graham similarly pressured officials in Georgia to swing the vote there toward Trump in 2020.
President Biden declared, “There’s an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs of our democracy: The MAGA movement. Trumpism is an assault on democracy, a threat to our democracy — in short, semi-fascism.”

Trump now asserted that Jewish voters "would really have a lot to do" with it if he loses to Vice President Kamala Harris in November. It was Trump's standard operating procedure — project blame on others instead of himself.

During his keynote address Trump said that he "wasn't treated properly by the voters who happen to be Jewish" during his 2016 and 2020 elections, adding, "If I don't win this election, and the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that if that happens."
Trump, of course, is a lying bastard who is full of shit.
Trump's comments were described as "vile" by attorney Andrew Weinstein, a public delegate of the United States to the United Nations who wrote that Trump's statements were "dangerous and should be condemned by all Americans." Trump himself should be condemned by all Americans in the upcoming November election!
Congressman Jaime Raskin said "antisemitism and racism are the gateway to destruction, not just of our communities, but also of liberal democracy itself. And most American Jews, like most Americans, can recognize an autocrat and a would-be dictator when we see them."
Yesterday a group of Democratic Jewish lawmakers wrote that Trump "has dangerously and irresponsibly shifted blame on the Jewish people for his potential loss in November — yet another extension of a pervasive antisemitic trope."
Polling shows that a majority of Jewish voters back Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. Since Harris entered the race, Trump has seen his margins decrease significantly in the polls across all seven battleground states.

Another Trump MAGA PIG stays in the race!
North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R), who Trump endorsed, said he’s staying in the North Carolina gubernatorial race in spite of the CNN story revealing a wide range of inflammatory comments that he reportedly made on a pornography website, including calling himself a “black NAZI” and wishing for slavery to be reinstated. The outlet reported that Robinson made these comments between 2008 and 2012, before his political career began, on a website called “Nude Africa.”
“Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves. I wish they would bring it [slavery] back. I would certainly buy a few,” Robinson said. He also reportedly made posts in 2011 criticizing Martin Luther King Jr. as a “commie bastard” and “worse than a maggot” and in 2012 saying that he would prefer Adolf Hitler to be in charge over “any of the sh-t that’s in Washington.” He has called Muslims “invaders” and made derogatory comments about Jews and Black voters who support Democrats. Robinson has attacked transgender rights, called for a six-week abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest, and mocked survivors of school shootings. An email address belonging to Robinson was registered on Ashley Madison, a website designed for married people seeking affairs.
This is the kind of FERAL PIG that the Republicans are putting up for office, and the kind of person that Trump endorses. Sui! North Carolina is a must-win state for Trump: A poor showing in the state could signify a losing night for Trump on Nov. 5.
Robinson is dragging Trump down in North Carolina. But, as historian Heather Cox Richardson wrote: "ignorant Republican voters knew who Robinson was, and they chose him anyway. As far back as 2012, political scientists Thomas Mann and Norm Ornstein warned that the Republican Party had 'become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.'”
Thankfully, the Democratic nominee, Josh Stein, is maintaining a significant lead over Robinson in this race.

The stock market hit a new high under the Democratic administration
The S&P 500, the Nasdaq Composite, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average all hit new records yesterday after the Fed cut interest rates for the first time in four years. The rate cut indicated to traders that the U.S. has, in fact, managed to pull off the soft landing President Joe Biden and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen worked to achieve. They have kept job growth steady, normalized economic growth and inflation, and avoided a recession.
The major U.S. stock indices have had what The Guardian's Callum Jones calls “an extraordinary year.” Jones notes that the S&P 500 is up more than 20% since the beginning of 2024, the Nasdaq Composite has risen 22%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average has gone up 11%.
Bringing the U.S. economy out of the pandemic more successfully than any other major economically developed country meant clear goals and principles, and careful, informed adjustments, and Joe Biden, our Democratic president, has successfully accomplished it.

Trump then went to great lengths to hide this conduct, causing dozens of false entries in business records to conceal criminal activity, including attempts to violate state and federal election laws.

The most recent Gallop poll found that 53 percent of Americans view Trump unfavorably, while only 46 percent view him favorably. The poll surveyed 1,007 Americans from September 3 to September 15, 2024. Vice President Kamala Harris is set to hold an event in Michigan today with Oprah Winfrey.
A new Fox News national poll shows that Vice President Kamala Harris is beating Trump by 2 percentage points. Last month, Trump had a 1-point advantage, but now Harris is ahead by 2 points. In August, independent voters favored Trump by 8 points, but now they now favor Harris by 12 points. Trump, the rambling halfwit in cognitive decline, held a town hall event in Flint, Michigan yesterday where one of the things he addressed was the criticism he's been receiving about his extended riffs where he goes off script and off topic. Vice President Kamala Harris even encouraged viewers during the debate to attend a Trump rally and listen to him talk about Hannibal Lecter and complain about his problems.
Well, last night Trump, the inconsequential ex-president, was true to form and delivered a lengthy, meandering, and rambling answer in which he spoke about the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, confused Bagram Air Base with an oil reserve in Alaska, spoke about the latest assassination attempt against him, mocked climate change, and threatened to impose a 200 percent tariff on cars imported from Mexico. Trump tailored his message to lie to his MAGA Maggot supporters in Michigan. Trump has no plan. In the debate, he openly admitted that all he had were "concepts of a plan."
“The fake news likes to say, ‘Oh he was rambling.’ No, no. That’s not rambling. That’s genius,” Trump said of his own comments to Sarah Huckabee, the governor of Arkansas and Trump's ex-press secretary. “When you can connect the dots. Now, Sarah, if you couldn’t connect the dots, you got a problem. But every dot was connected. And many stories were told in that little paragraph.”
Genius? Hardly. Geniuses don't brag about being geniuses. We can certainly connect the dots, and when we do, we can all see that Trump is a fake. He's a malignant narcissist in cognitive decline. He's nothing but a con man, a snake oil salesman, and a bullshit artist.
On the other hand, Kamala Harris has now hit a record polling lead over Trump, increasing her lead by six percentage points — 51% to Trump's 45% — which is double the advantage she held before the debate. Voters are seeing right through Trump's bullshit.
More than 400,000 people visited vote.gov in the 24 hours after pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Harris last week.
Even top science magazine, Scientific American, with a global readership of six million, has endorsed Kamala Harris for president, stating, “Vote for Kamala Harris to Support Science, Health and the Environment.” It was only the second time in its 179-year history that the magazine has endorsed a political candidate.

Newsweek reported that Trump, the CONVICTED FELON, in an interview with Fox News Digital, is blaming President Biden and Vice President Harris for his latest assassination plot, saying, "[Ryan Wesley Routh] believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it. Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country—both from the inside and out."

Susan Del Percy, in her article on MSNBC, said, "For a political candidate, responding to an assassination attempt should be fairly easy: Be thankful if no one was hurt, express your condolences if anyone was and condemn political violence. Democratic nominee Kamala Harris showed how to do it in her immediate response to the apparent assassination attempt over the weekend on Trump, putting out a statement that said she is 'glad he is safe' and that 'violence has no place in America.'"
In Trump’s response, however, less than 24 hours after the incident, he claimed that the rhetoric of President Joe Biden and Harris was "causing me to be shot at," then immediately pivoted to saying they are “destroying the country” and that they are “the enemy from within” and “the real threat." Trump is a worthless asshole.
Trump is only worried and concerned about himself. Since his disastrous debate performance with Vice President Kamala Harris, officials had to evacuate two elementary schools in Springfield, Ohio, three days in a row, citing threats that have led to safety concerns. Ohio’s Republican governor, Mike DeWine, said that there have been “at least 33” bomb threats against schools and public offices after Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance, spread the lie that Haitian immigrants to Springfield have been eating the pets of their white neighbors. On CNN yesterday morning, Vance finally admitted to Dana Bash that he had created the story of Haitian immigrants eating pets, claiming such a lie was the only way to get the media to pay attention to what he considers the crisis of immigration. Lying is the Republicans standard mode of operation. Now Vance is spreading the lie that Haitian immigrants are spreading HIV and tuberculosis in Ohio, even though the rates of both diseases has gone down.
Historian Heather Cox Richardson so very articulately stated, "That a politician of any sort would lie to rally supporters against a marginalized population comes straight out of the authoritarian playbook, which seeks to build a community around the idea that the people in it are besieged by outsiders. But when that politician is running for vice president, with the potential to become the president if anything happens to his 78-year-old running mate, who is the oldest person ever to run for president, it raises a whole factory of red flags."

Trump uses latest assassination plot for fundraising
Citizen Trump, the convicted felon, used the latest assassination plot against him in a fundraising email.
Secret Service agents engaged with a suspect pointing an AK-47 assault rifle at the Florida golf course where Trump was golfing Sunday afternoon. It was not clear if the suspect was aiming his gun at the former president, but the Secret Service subsequently said the suspect did not have a clear line of sight at Trump. Agents fired at the suspect after spotting his rifle through the fence line, multiple sources told ABC News. There was no indication that the suspect fired any shots, but the FBI is investigating the incident as an "attempted assassination," and Trump posted about how safe and well he is, and used the incident to panhandle, sending out a fundraising email to his MAGA Maggot cult members.

Conservative attorney George Conway warned that Trump and his campaign are in the middle of an “implosion” right now ― and he said it’s only going to get worse as Trump grows more desperate.

Economists agree that Democrats have the best economic agenda
Newsweek reported that 40 economists from America's top schools said that Kamala Harris has the better economic agenda to get Americans back on track.
Seventy percent of the same economists said that Trump's economic policies would be more inflationary. A total of 70 percent also thought Trump's economic platform would produce larger federal budget deficits, which are when government expenses exceed revenue. They also add to the national debt, which is not good for the economy. Trump plans to continue the tax cuts he passed in 2017, which largely benefited the rich and big businesses.

The Pope weighs in on the election
Pope Francis offered a searing indictment of both of the two major-party candidates in the United States presidential election.
A reporter from CBS News asked the pontiff what a Catholic voter should do when faced with one candidate who supports abortion rights (Harris) and the other who advocates deporting millions of migrants (Trump). “They are both against life,” the pope responded, “the one who throws away migrants and the one who kills children.”
“It should be clear that sending migrants away, denying migrants the capacity to work, to not welcome migrants, it is a sin. It is grave,” the pope added. Trump has promised to deport the Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio if he is elected, although they are here legally and are not subhuman.
He also emphasized the Catholic Church’s perennial stance that abortion is murder. “Whether you like the word or not, it is a killing,” he said. “It is an assassination, and on this we should be clear.”
Despite his disapproval of the two candidates, the pope made it clear that he wasn’t trying to deter his followers from going to the polls. “One must vote,” he said. “One must choose the lesser of two evils,” he added. “Who is the lesser of two evils, that lady or that gentleman, I do not know.” The pope concluded that Catholics in America must consult their conscience before casting a vote one way or the other.
Unfortunately, the pope did not address the FACT that Trump is also an adulterer, a convicted sexual abuser, an incessant liar, an insurgent, and a convicted felon on 34 counts. Trump and his MAGA Maggot Republicans have also spread the lie that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio have been eating white people's dogs and cats. A new Reuters/Ipsos national poll conducted entirely after Tuesday's debate indicates Harris leading Trump by five points. The survey indicates that voters agree with political pundits in saying that Harris bested Trump during their Philadelphia showdown. Fifty-three percent of survey respondents said that Harris had won, with just a mere 24% saying that Trump was the winner.
The Republican campaign is faltering as Trump appears increasingly unhinged, afraid to be on a stage with Harris, and seemingly unable to distinguish fact from fiction. Trump is clearly in decline.
Kamala Harris will be the next President of the United States, and Trump's name and legacy will thankfully be forgotten in the annals of time.

Trump's sentencing is now scheduled for November 26, three weeks after voters cast their ballots. This past Friday Trump held a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin. It was a small rally featuring a small man. Voters were shocked at how Trump has deteriorated: his meandering and self-indulgent speeches have had attendees leaving early, some of them bewildered. He is increasingly rambling and giving non-answers (i.e. jumbled "word salads") to policy questions. In one now-viral speech, Trump suggests tariffs are the answer to skyrocketing costs in child care! Tara Setmayer, a former Republican congressional staffer, called Trump an "absolute lunatic," and said his recent speeches and social media posts have been devolving.
In Friday's speech, Trump slurred a number of words, referring to Elon Musk as “Leon,” for example, and forgetting the name of North Dakota governor Doug Burgum, who was on his short list for his own vice presidential pick.
Trump is in severe and rapid cognitive decline. On Friday, he was in a fantasy world, and his rhetoric was apocalyptic:
- He went on a rant against our allies, saying that they’re only our allies when they need something and that they would never come to our aid if we needed them.
- He embraced Project 2025’s promise to eliminate the Department of Education.
- He reiterated the ridiculous and unproven MAGA claim that mothers are executing their babies after birth.
- He reiterated the complete fantasy that schools are performing gender-affirming surgery on children.
- He attacked immigrants and reiterated his plan to get rid of migrants.
- He claimed that crime has made the U.S. uninhabitable.
- He said he will prevent World War III and is the only one capable of doing it.
- He claimed that if he didn't win this election, Israel will be gone.
- He said he will jail election officials that he considers to be cheats.
- He vowed to pardon his January 6 rioters.
- He praised one of his own speeches as delivered more “brilliantly” than anything since Franklin Roosevelt, replete with exaggerations and distortions.
- He falsely claimed that jails have been emptied in other countries to allow suspects and criminals to flood the United States.
Harris has an average of 49% support, while Trump has 47% in the latest CNN Poll of Polls, which includes surveys conducted between August 23 and September 6.

The debate is only 2 days away!
Republicans worry Trump will be 'like a lab rat hitting the cocaine' at the debate. Republicans are exceedingly nervous about how Trump will handle the moment. They commented that it was unlikely would be able to refrain from lobbing personal attacks at Vice President Kamala Harris and stick to discussing policy when standing across from his far more qualified opponent.
Trump doesn't like to be reigned in on a leash, but that's exactly what it's going to take to keep this pig from rambling off his planned script.
Trump's unlearned MAGA Maggot voters have a locked-in view of him, so his real goal is to convince swing voters fed up with the economy and the border to vote for him, and with President Biden out of the picture, Trump is now the one appearing elderly, confused, and cognitively impaired (Case in point: Trump even called Elon Musk by the wrong name at his Wisconsin rally yesterday). In a New York Times column earlier this week, Democratic strategist James Carville suggested Harris may opt to do as Trump did to Biden, and simply let him lose his cool and talk his way into a certain defeat.
“Harris will want to make personality the issue, which is hard for Trump to resist, but it will be a bad night for him if he falls back on hurling absurd insults at Harris," said California-based Republican consultant Rob Stutzman — who told Politico he will be writing in a name on his own ballot and not voting for Trump.
With the debate still two days away, it's par for the course for Trump to already be whining like a schoolgirl that he'll be treated unfairly by the media. Kamala Harris will win the presidential election
Presidential historian Allan Lichtman, known as the “Nostradamus of presidential predictions,” predicts that Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris will win the 2024 election.
Lichtman, the professor who has taught at the American University in Washington, DC since 1973, has correctly called the winner of nine out of the last 10 US presidential races over the last 40 years.
The New York Times was first to report Lichtman’s projection, which is not influenced by political polling. Instead, Lichtman uses a model centered on “13 true-or-false questions.”

I wonder if Trump's "like English professors" think lying is brilliant? Trump doubled down on the idea that the United States is a failing nation. Trump-backed MAGA Maggot Senate candidate Tim Sheehy has been caught on tape making offensive comments about Native Americans.
Audio recordings revealed that Sheehy, the Montana Republican, made racially-charged remarks about the Crow Tribe in the southcentral part of the state. At one point, Sheehy accused tribal members of being drunk in the morning.
“I rope and brand with them every year… A great way to bond with all the Indians while they’re drunk at 8am….” Sheehy is heard saying with a laugh in a clip from a fundraiser.
Sheehy is Trump’s pick for Montana’s Senate seat. Apples certainly don't fall far from the tree.

Trump gives up campaigning in order to attack Kamala Harris
Trump is SCUM! That's right, folks. Yesterday the Boston Globe published a leaked email from former Massachusetts Republican Party vice chair Tom Mountain, a top volunteer with the Trump campaign, telling volunteers that the Trump campaign “no longer thinks New Hampshire is winnable” and is “pulling back” from that important swing state. He urged volunteers to turn their attention instead to Pennsylvania. After the story dropped, the Trump campaign then cut ties with Mountain.
The Washington Post reported today that Trump’s team has given up on trying to get Trump to talk about the economy and other issues voters care about. Media-tracking company AdImpact reported that between August 23 and August 29, 57% of the total television spending for political ads was on Republican attacks against Vice President Harris.

Trump, the Feral PIG, continued ranting about the reported altercation between his campaign staff and Arlington National Cemetery.
“There was no conflict or ‘fighting’ at Arlington National Cemetery last week,” Trump lied. “It was a made up story by Comrade Kamala and her misinformation squad."

Vice President Kamala Harris said Trump “disrespected sacred ground” when he attempted to film and take photos at Arlington National Cemetery, where it's against the rules to film for partisan political activities. Trump later said he didn’t know anything about the rules, even though cemetery officials clearly informed Trump and his band of MAGA Maggot followers beforehand.

Dumb-Ass Trump claimed he had the 'right' to interfere with the election
Trump, the nation's #1 Idiot, claimed he had the "right" to interfere with a presidential election. Wrong, Stupid Donnie! No one has a right to interfere with a presidential election. Several federal laws prohibit such interference, but we all know that Trump thinks he's above the law. Trump is very obviously mentally ill.
Legal analyst Joyce White Vance added: “This is the banality of evil right here—Trump asserting he can override the will of the voters to claim victory in an election he lost. And, he will do it again. We must vote against him in overwhelming numbers.”
