Antifa only exists in tRump's warped mind
Antifa, at least as imagined by Dementia Donnie and his MAGA supporters, simply does not exist.
As Amanda Marcotte, senior politics writer, so clearly wrote in Salon, Dementia Donnie recently signed an executive order declaring antifa a “domestic terrorist organization,” which is not a legal designation. His memo was so thick with lies that it would take a week to debunk them all. Antifa is not “a militarist, anarchist enterprise,” nor does it use “illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism.” It doesn’t “conceal its funding sources and operations,” and it certainly isn’t involved in “spreading, fomenting, and advancing political violence and suppressing lawful political speech.”
MAGA’s imaginary version of antifa is no different than past urban legends about demonic possession and QAnon’s claims that Oscar winner Tom Hanks eats children’s brains.
You see, Trump is fruitlessly trying to insist that antifa is real and that there are various iterations that go back to the Weimar Republic in Germany, that the people who tried to stop the rise of the Nazis were the bad guys — and therefore, people who oppose fascism now are also villains.
We all know that Trump can't read, so who is feeding him this bullshit that comes spewing forth from his big mouth?
Marcotte wrote that "the invocation of antifa as a bogeyman serves the same purpose now as it did when Nazis were creating concentration camps in the 1930s and justifying their construction with lies about socialist and Jewish threats." She said that the more immediate inspiration for Trump’s strategy comes from the explosion, during his first term, of far-right paramilitary groups like the Proud Boys (translation: pussy boys) and the Oath Keepers (translation: oath breakers). These are the pigs who conjured up the fantasy of antifa as a moral justification for their own organized political violence. Now Trump is adopting the tactics of these fascist street gang goons — but with the power to mobilize law enforcement and the military in enacting violence on a level far beyond the Proud Boys’ wildest dreams. These groups wandered through our streets, bearing weapons, harassing residents and otherwise creating a spectacle of violence and chaos. The goal was not subtle: They aimed to be so annoying or threatening that locals would lash out at them. Even the slightest touch from a resident was construed as an “attack” that was then used to justify street brawls under the ludicrous pretense of self-defense. Many of these goons were worthless convicted Jan 6 felons, subsequently pardoned by Dear Leader, the #1 insurrectionist and #1 traitor to America. The right’s strategy was effective, however. After all, it came from the same playbook that worked for Nazi Germany’s brownshirts of Nazi Germany. This is also Trump's adopted strategy — he's not capable of original thinking, he's only a copycat.
So Trump is now deploying the National Guard and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) goons to progressive cities to stand-in for the Proud Boys. The hope seems to be that a protester or bystander will throw a punch, which could then used to justify unleashing even more of his fascist violence. Trump and his MAGA movement are the cause of rising political violence. Trump has adopted the Proud Boys method of relentlessly attacking progressive cities with threats and violence, and openly begging for someone to fight back, so he can pretend he’s the victim.
Dementia Donnie and Piss-Drunk "Kegger" Hegseth are Mass Murderers!
Under the laws of America, mass murderers should be tried, convicted, and then either put in prison for life without the possibility of parole or executed.
Trump and Hegseth launched their ninth illegal and murderous strike against an "alleged" drug-carrying vessel yesterday, killing three people in the eastern Pacific Ocean on what Dementia Donnie called "a well known narcotrafficking transit route," expanding their campaign against drug trafficking in South America.
This brings their murderous death toll to at least 43 on 10 boats from unauthorized attacks that began last month. No questioning, no trials, no convictions — just mass murder by these two neo-Nazi fascists without any Congressional approval.
Unhinged Dementia Donnie has justified the strikes by asserting that the United States is engaged in an “armed conflict” with drug cartels, proclaiming the criminal organizations as unlawful combatants. Combatants? This is pure bullshit, Americans! Trump insisted that “we have legal authority. We’re allowed to do that.” On Thursday, Trump told CNN he could continue to launch strikes against alleged drug traffickers abroad without Congress first passing an official declaration of war. Trump is so full of shit he stinks! Such strikes are a violation of U.S. and international laws.
Kegger Hegseth is even moving the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to the Caribbean in preparation for more illegal attacks, with plans to target cocaine facilities and drug trafficking routes inside Venezuela. The Ford Carrier Strike Group will add between 4,500 and 5,000 more sailors and marines to those already stationed in the Caribbean. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Venezuela is not a cocaine-producing country. Almost all coca crops – the main ingredient of cocaine – are concentrated in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.
Congress most certainly needs to exert its authority to ban such illegal military actions, as these actions by Trump and Hegseth are the epitome of incompetence.
