The Twitter Toddler Is Trying To Undermine The Election

Business Insider has reported that Trump, now running out of options and worried he’ll lose, is trying to undermine the legitimacy of the November presidential election with his unsubstantiated and baseless theory that mail-in voting is fraudulent. Fact: it’s not. A number of states have already had universal mail-in voting for years without issue.

Yesterday Trump suggested delaying Election Day, which he does not have the authority to do. Only an act of Congress could change the federal statute to shift the dates for when states appoint their electors.

Trying to sow distrust with our electoral process is nothing new from Trump. As a candidate, Trump employed the same failed approach in 2016 when he was falling behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the polls and widely expected to lose. As the GOP presidential nominee, Trump repeatedly said the election was rigged against him. Instead of going after mail-in voting, in 2016 Trump suggested polling places weren't safe.

Trump completely botched his response to the COVID-19 pandemic, proving he has no leadership ability whatsoever, which is a large part of the reason his approval rating is plummeting.

So, with
over 156,000 people in the US dead from COVID-19, the US Gross Domestic Product (GDP) down 9.5%, and a plummeting approval rating, Trump continued to push wildly misleading claims about mail-in voting as part of a larger, clear effort to undermine the legitimacy of the 2020 election. With his reelection prospects looking increasingly bleak and only 95 days until Election Day, Trump is trying to convince Americans that Democrats are essentially attempting to rig the election with a push for mail-in voting. That way, if he loses on November 3, he can whine that the results are fake. Dictators like Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, who have both essentially become president-for-life in their respective countries, fight to undermine free and fair elections; and Trump, being a wanna-be dictator, is trying to follow their lead.

Trump's self-destructive style of leadership led him to this point. As he continues to falter, he appears determined to drag America's democracy down with him.
Thank goodness our form of government provides for a legitimate way to get rid of incompetent fools like Trump. And if Trump won’t leave after his loss, then President Biden should send in the same “goon squad” that Trump used on on the people of Portland to physically remove him from the White House for trespassing.

Johns Hopkins Experts Recommend Reset Of Pandemic Response

With
Trump’s appalling failure in responding to the coronavirus pandemic, so far resulting in nearly 154,000 American deaths, scholars at Johns Hopkins University are recommending a reset in the national response.

The first death in the US was reported on February 29. The country reached 50,000 deaths 54 days later on April 23, and only 34 days later, on May 27, crossed 100,000 deaths. It has taken only 63 days to add another 50,000 to surpass the 150,000 mark — more than a fifth of the world's recorded deaths. The pandemic is out of control in the US.

"I think the fact that we as a country have not been able to get our arms around this, have not prioritized preventing those deaths is all that much more maddening,” said Dr. Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Health Institute.

Trump’s latest pandemic response: to showcase a witch doctor on national television who says we don’t need to wear masks and that hydroxychloroquine is the cure, to
mock the idea of a national pandemic strategy, and then to sulk and complain that his ratings aren’t as high as Dr. Fauci’s. For Trump, it’s all about his ratings. He is the height of incompetence, and is the perfect example of the Peter Principle — being promoted based on success in previous jobs until reaching a level at which one is no longer competent, as skills in one job do not necessarily translate to another.

Infectious disease experts say the country is at a critical juncture. Scholars at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security said the United States needs to restart its response with policy actions at the federal, state and local levels to get control of the pandemic. "Unlike many countries in the world, the United States is not currently on course to get control of this epidemic," the Johns Hopkins report says. "It is time to reset." The report includes 10 recommendations that include universal mask mandates, federal leadership to improve testing and, in places where rates of transmission are worsening, stay-at-home orders.

Most importantly, we must
oust mentally ill Trump and replace him with someone who has leadership capabilities in order to make the biggest difference in successfully fighting this pandemic. A group of Republican opponents of Trump is calling for a “purifying fire” to sweep through the GOP in the fall, taking down not just Trump, but as many Republican officeholders as possible. We agree wholeheartedly. America cannot move forward and regain its greatness with any of these “do-nothing puppets” remaining in office.

Only The Self-Centered And Selfish Still Won’t Wear Masks

Wearing a protective face mask during a pandemic is a health issue. Period.

It’s not a political issue or a rights issue, but some immature and ignorant people continue to ignore scientific fact and refuse to wear the only protection we as a society know of to slow down and eventually halt this pandemic.
Wearing a mask saves lives.

Currently, Florida, Mississippi, Arizona, Arkansas and Texas are in dire condition as a result of Covid-19. Florida reported another one-day high of 191 deaths, while Arizona recorded 104, and Arkansas had a daily record of 20. Fears are growing about the potential for a significant uptick in the midwest, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and Colorado. The pandemic is being fueled largely by a rise in cases among young adults, who have been hitting bars, restaurants and health clubs again, without wearing masks or practicing social distancing; yet REPUBLICAN governors in Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri and South Carolina have all resisted calls to close bars and gyms or issue statewide mask requirements. Do these people feel invincible, or do they simply not care? In late July of 2020, no one can claim they’re unaware of the devastation this pandemic is causing to our nation. Simply put, these are selfish, inconsiderate and self-centered people with no regard for others. Elected officials who disregard common sense safety precautions as simple as wearing a protective mask during a pandemic should be ousted from office — they are not serving the people who elected them.

Yesterday Trump, the nation’s #1 idiot, again chided governors who were slowing economic reopenings amid the nationwide coronavirus surge, while as of this writing, 152,343 Americans have already died of Covid-19. Trump also stood by his support of hydroxychloroquine as a remedy for the coronavirus, even though this has been proven both ineffective and dangerous by health experts. Earlier in the day on CNN, Trump defended a sketchy doctor who believes in alien DNA, demon sperm and hydroxychloroquine, and who says that face masks aren’t necessary to stop transmission of the highly contagious coronavirus, and who is promoting an unproven and unsafe treatment for the coronavirus infection. That same doctor had also made YouTube videos warning of sex witches and posted demands on social media for urine from Dr. Anthony Fauci and CNN personalities. Trump hailed her as “very impressive” and “an important voice.” Yet when asked by a reporter on Tuesday about this doctor’s unorthodox medical views, Trump balked, saying he knows “nothing about her” but calling her voice an important one. When pressed for more details, he abruptly ended the news conference and walked out.

Trump is a dangerously irresponsible snake oil salesman who continues to take no blame for his gross mismanagement of the pandemic. He has continuously demonstrated that he is mentally ill and utterly unfit for office. How can anyone continue to listen to or follow this friggin’ idiot?

Pandemic Still Spreading Out Of Control As Trump Does Nothing Except Worry About His Poll Ratings

Over 1,000 people have died of Covid-19 every day for the last four days and Trump still insists on reopening both businesses and schools. The death toll from the coronavirus in the US now stands at over 150,000, with the CDC projecting that number to reach 175,000 by August 15th.

More than 150 prominent medical experts, scientists, teachers, nurses and other experts have signed a letter urging leaders to shut the country down and start over to contain the rampant spread of the virus. "Right now, we are on a path to lose more than 200,000 American lives by November 1st. Yet, in many states people can drink in bars, get a haircut, eat inside a restaurant, get a tattoo, get a massage, and do myriad other normal, pleasant, but non-essential activities," read the letter, which was sent to the Trump administration, members of Congress and state governors.

In Texas, which broke a record for virus-related deaths last week, doctors inside one hospital may decide to send patients home to "die by their loved ones" due to limited resources,
officials said. Texas hospitals now have nearly 11,000 Covid patients!

60 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of the virus, according to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll. Voters have already concluded by a large margin — 17 percentage points in a Fox News poll — that they trust Biden to do a better job of leading the nation through the pandemic. So the American people have reached a conclusion about the performance of the incumbent: Trump failed. Trump “has no idea what to do,” Biden told MSNBC host Joy Reid last week. “Zero.” Trump’s only concern is winning the election, Biden said. After interviewing Trump for an hour last week, Chris Wallace of Fox News said Trump still “doesn’t seem to have a handle” on the pandemic; and this is damning given that Trump was warned about the potency of the coronavirus in January.

Trump has failed, and that cannot be refuted. In January Trump told CNBC he had no worry about the coronavirus because “we have it totally under control…we have it under control. It is going to be just fine.” In late February, Trump again steered the country wrong by tweeting that the virus is “very much under control in the USA…Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” In March, as the situation grew worse, Trump blamed the “Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party,” for trying to “inflame the CoronaVirus situation.” Later in March, Trump announced the virus would be gone in time for Americans to gather at church for Easter services in mid-April. The pandemic has been Trump’s most costly failure.

Yet Trump continues to put pressure on governors to reopen schools in a push to get the US back to business as usual. The country cannot survive for long with this idiot remaining in office.

Thankfully, polls show that Biden is now clearly ahead in the key states of Florida, Arizona and Michigan, with Trump also losing his momentum in the key state of Ohio.
The most important action all American citizens can take in 2020 is to vote Democratic on November 3rd!

Trumps Sets An Example That Causes American Deaths

The Washington Post reported that as Florida became a global epicenter of the coronavirus, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis sidelined scientists and followed Trump instead! DeSantis halted briefings last month with disease specialists, telling the experts there wasn’t sufficient personnel from the state to continue participating.

What? There wasn’t sufficient personnel to participate in briefings while DeSantis’ state became the virus epicenter of the United States? Trump responded to
The Post, “Ron DeSantis is doing a great job and will go down in history as a great governor of Florida.” This is the unbelievable Republican response to the pandemic, folks — purposely ignoring scientific health facts and letting people die! Trump downplayed the seriousness of the Covid-19 virus from its onset and mismanaged his response to it, resulting in the United States having the highest number of infections and deaths of any country in the world. Now Trump’s henchmen — Republican governors and mayors — are following their cult leader and the virus continues to spread out of control. Nearly 5,800 Floridians have now died of Covid-19 — more deaths than were suffered in combat by Americans in Afghanistan or Iraq after 2001.

Darlene Dempsey, a nurse in West Palm Beach and a lifelong Republican, said she could no longer support Trump or DeSantis, both of whom, she added, had chosen to “gaslight nurses” instead of using the time in March and April to ramp up production of medical equipment and develop a testing plan. She said,
“The fairy tales about all being under control are nonsense. Our government has failed us.”

Americans are getting sick and dying, and Trump still has
no unified plan for addressing this national health emergency, but has pushed for states to reopen. Instead, Trump is more concerned about his image and his reelection chances than he is about doing his job. Trump sets the example for his pathetic Republican support base to follow, and that example has now resulted in over 4.3 million Covid-19 infections and 149,398 deaths.

Trump and his Republican senators, congressmen, governors and mayors must be voted out in November!

If current numbers hold, the Republican Party will suffer its worst defeat in the suburbs in decades. Trump’s damage in the suburbs has come primarily, as it has elsewhere, from his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic, his response to the George Floyd protests, and his intervention in Portland, Oregon. There is no leadership coming out of the White House.

Trump’s Political Obituary

In the acceptance speech Trump made when he accepted being the Republican nominee for president on July 21, 2016, he said,
“I have joined the political arena so that the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves. Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it."

Did Trump, the one who has his goons beat up on American citizens, really say, “So that the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves?” Yes, he certainly did. And did he also say, “I alone can fix it?” Yep. Trump was an incessant liar then, and he’s an even worse liar now.

Trump alone was responsible for calling in his goon squads armed with
tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets, and who are physically beating American citizens with clubs on the streets of Portland, Oregon. Did he alone fix it? Hardly. Trump only further escalated the violence, saying he wanted to “dominate” cities.

Trump alone was responsible for the unlawful attacks on protesters which began with the tear-gassing of demonstrators in Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. so he could march to an historic church for a photo op holding a Bible — a plain violation of at least two provisions of the U.S. Constitution: the First and Fourth amendments.

“I alone can fix it.”

Those
five words will be the lead words at the top of Trump’s political obituary. RIP, Donnie. Your political “practice career” ends when we vote you out on November 3rd — we alone will fix it. The bottom of your political obituary will read: I did nothing. I fixed nothing.

Trump’s Mentors: Benito and Adolf

Trump, the Fascist and
Racist, uses tactics from the playbook of his mentors, Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, as he continues to send in his camouflaged, militarized, unidentified, roving secret police goon squads armed with tear gas, pepper spray and munitions fired from paintball-style guns, and are physically beating American citizens with batons on the streets of Portland, Oregon, against strong opposition from the state’s governor, the city’s mayor and other respected high ranking military officers. These unwelcome goons are Trump’s storm troopers and Gestapo headed up by Chad Wolf, the acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a former lobbyist with absolutely no law enforcement experience and the fifth person to serve in that job under Trump. “Wolf needs to be run out of Washington and has no business being in charge of Homeland Security, said retired U.S. Army Lt. General Russel Honoré, a 37-year veteran of our armed forces who led the relief effort on the ground in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. He said that our police and military need to “protect” people’s right to protest, not “suppress” it. Timothy Snyder, the author of the book, On Tyranny, wrote, “Be wary of paramilitaries…When the pro-leader paramilitary and the official police and military intermingle, the end has come.”

Trump has vowed to use the power of the federal government to crush what he calls “violent anarchists.” He has been eager to more widely deploy DHS personnel he views as loyal to “dominate” U.S. cities as he campaigns for reelection as an urban lawman. Trump would be nothing if he wasn’t a fool. The threat of force against cities whose residents overwhelmingly oppose Trump has outraged lawmakers and mayors. They say the federal units are unwelcome and unnecessary — if not unlawful. But Trump insists they are needed to protect American cities from the more unruly elements of a movement protesting police brutality and systemic racism. This, of course, is pure bullshit.

Despite the widespread opposition, Trump said that he plans to send officers to a number of other cities run by “liberal Democrats,” including Baltimore, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

The Oregon attorney general warns that Portland is just a “test case roadshow” for Trump, folks.
How long will it take for Trump to send his goon squads down your street? It’s time to get rid of Trump by voting for Joe Biden on November 3rd.

Trump Knows He’s Losing & He’s Running Scared
Run, Donnie, run on those bone spurs!

Trump's sudden rediscovery of the pandemic, his all-too-quick 180-degree turnaround on the endorsement of masks with him all of a sudden calling it “patriotic” to wear one, and the return of his notorious briefings suggest an overdue realization that public scorn over his denial-plagued leadership could end his presidency. This about-face is all nothing more than a staged photo-op that proves Trump has no understanding of the seriousness of the pandemic, and that he has no plan whatsoever for leading this nation. He is reactive instead of proactive.

We’re over five months into the worst domestic crisis since World War II, and Trump still has no plan. Not only does he not have a plan, he doesn’t even recognize the problem. He failed to accept the seriousness of the coronavirus, in spite of both CDC warnings and expert advice from his own staff’s health experts. His skewed logic believes that more testing equals more cases, and that fewer tests would equal fewer cases. He insists on opening up states prematurely that not only have not yet purged the disease, but where it’s still surging beyond control. He’s adamant about reopening schools, even though US Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams said today that the country needs to lower the transmission rate of Covid-19 in order to reopen schools. Trump has tried to distract from his utter incompetence by projecting the focus on other issues, such as Black Lives Matter (a movement that he calls “racist”), the Confederate flag, and goon squads to squelch legitimate protesting. It’s all a cosmetic smoke screen to conceal Trump’s incompetence, but Americans can see through it and will finally oust this unstable idiot from the White House in November’s election.

A vote for Joe Biden on November 3rd is a vote to Restore Democracy in America!

Republicans Break Rank With Trump

Trump’s failure to contain the coronavirus outbreak and his refusal to promote clear public-health guidelines have left many senior Republicans despairing that he will ever play a constructive role in addressing the crisis, with some concluding they must work around Trump and ignore or even contradict his pronouncements. Even members of Trump’s own political party now understand what an idiot Trump is and how detrimental he is, not only to our country, but also to their own chances for reelection.

The roots of the nation’s current inability to control the pandemic can be traced directly to Trump’s mismanagement of the pandemic from the very start. Trump claimed it wasn’t serious and would disappear “like a miracle.” Instead, what could have been slowed down and halted months ago has now spread to the point where the United States has more infections and fatalities than any other country in the world.

Today, in an interview on
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Trump downplayed the seriousness of the coronavirus and actually said that many cases are simply people who "have the sniffles."

Sniffles? More than 3.7 million coronavirus cases have been
confirmed in the United States, and more than 140,000 Americans have died, according to Johns Hopkins University researchers. You don’t die from sniffles! Trump then said, “When you talk about mortality rates, I think it's the opposite. I think we have one of the lowest mortality rates in the world." Wallace reminded Trump that he has said things that have not turned out to be true, like saying earlier this year that the virus will at some point "disappear." Trump responded, “I’ll be right eventually.”

New confirmed coronavirus cases are rising at a faster rate than tests. But Trump again falsely asserted that testing is to blame for the spike in identified infections.

This is more proof of how out-of-touch Trump is, and how unfit he is for the office of president.

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll released today shows that Trump is 15 points behind Joe Biden among registered voters — 55 percent to 40 percent.

Vote for Joe Biden on November 3rd.

No National Mask Mandate From Trump

The Covid-19 virus has been spreading in the U.S. for nearly half a year now, and over 142,000 Americans have already died from it. Morgues in some states are running out of room; yet Trump still won’t issue a national mandate requiring Americans to wear masks in order to slow the spread of the virus. Even though every noted health expert recommends wearing masks as the primary way to slow the spread of the pandemic, Trump still expresses skepticism about their effectiveness. He continues to insist that states reopen and is insistent that schools open as well, even as coronavirus cases increase. Trump is a fool.

In April, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended the use of face masks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus after evidence showed that
people not showing symptoms can still spread COVID-19.

Republicans and conservative media personalities have rallied around the use of masks in recent weeks as an effective way to halt the spread of the virus and allow businesses to reopen to revive the U.S. economy. A number of governors, local leaders and businesses have also mandated the use of masks, as coronavirus cases have surged in various states — and some states are even implementing hefty fines for violators.

We could slow this pandemic quickly if everyone wore a mask. The director of the CDC said that the country could get the virus under control in four to six weeks if everyone wore a mask. But Trump is not interested in the public’s health. He is only interested in rallying his base of supporters for his own reelection purposes. Sadly, he is turning the mask issue from a health issue into a political one. He is purposely alienating the masses, causing dissension and conflict, and turning the mask issue into a conservative/liberal one. The wearing of masks is a health issue. Period.

Wear a protective face mask to help end this pandemic!

Trump Sends In His Goon Squads
Trump is no better than Adolf Hitler

Trump dispatched
his goon squads from the U.S. Marshals Special Operations Group and U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Border Patrol Tactical Unit to Portland, Oregon to “protect federal property during the recent protests against racism and police brutality.”

These goons are snagging and detaining people on Portland streets who aren't even near federal property! They’re wearing camouflage and using unmarked vehicles to drive around downtown Portland and have been detaining protesters since at least Tuesday. Personal accounts and multiple videos posted online show these goon squads driving up to people, detaining them with no explanation about why they are being arrested, and then driving off.

"You have laws regarding probable cause that can lead to arrests," said attorney Juan Chavez, director of the civil rights project at the Oregon Justice Resource Center. "It sounds more like abduction. It sounds like they're kidnapping people off the streets."

People have a First Amendment right to demonstrate in America.

This week, Trump has repeatedly spoken about what he calls lawlessness in the city. He praised the role of federal law enforcement officers in Portland and alluded to increasing their presence in cities nationwide.

These are all part of Trump’s latest Gestapo scare tactics. He thinks they show his power, when instead they only show what a weak, sad and pathetic little man he truly is.

"The president is failing to lead this nation. Now he is deploying federal officers to patrol the streets of Portland in a blatant abuse of power by the federal government,” said Oregon Gov. Kate Brown.

“This is an attack on our democracy,” Mayor Ted Wheeler of Portland said.

These tactics appear to be another escalation in federal force deployed on Portland city streets as Trump has said he plans to quell nightly protests outside the federal courthouse and Multnomah County Justice Center that have lasted for more than six weeks.
Trump is following the same tactics as his mentor, Adolf Hitler. Democracy is eroding under Trump’s Hitlerian tactics!

Trump Hawks Beans From The Oval Office

141,125 Americans have already died from Covid-19, and this is the answer of the self-proclaimed “wartime president” to the most serious health issue in America: Trump had the time to promote beans from the Resolute desk in the Oval Office, grinning from cheek to cheek with thumbs up like he won a game show prize, but he still hasn’t come up with a simple nationwide order for all Americans to wear masks in order to slow the spread of the pandemic. This is not fake news. This photo appeared on Trump’s own Instagram page.

Peter Hotez, M.D. Ph.D., professor and dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and co-director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development, says that computer models are predicting that at the pace the virus is on, the U.S. may have 224,000 deaths by November.

Mary Trump, Ph.D., the president’s niece, was absolutely correct in her new book,
Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” when she said that Trump is “utterly incapable of leading this country, and it’s dangerous to allow him to do so.”

The Loser Replaced His Campaign Manager

Trump is trailing Joe Biden in the polls. Covid-19 is spreading out of control as a result of Trump’s mismanaging the pandemic. Hospitals continue to be short of both staff and supplies. The economy has tanked and the U.S. is in a recession. Twenty-two million jobs were lost in March and April. All on Trump’s watch.

In a last ditch effort to change course as a result of sinking desperately in both national and swing state polls, Trump has demoted his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, and replaced him with
longtime political aide Bill Stepien.

Stepien was the field director for Trump’s 2016 campaign and has worked for him since the election. He was formerly a top aide to Governor Chris Christie.
Trump's son-in law, Jared Kushner, another loser, has been a key player in orchestrating the recent staff moves.

Will this change make any difference? Not in the pandemic; not in hospital shortages; not in the slumping economy or the loss of jobs.
Trump has already done irreparable damage to our country and now, regardless of the name of his campaign manager, Americans realize that the new name we really need is the one in the Oval Office.

“In life’s unforgiving arithmetic, we are the sum of our choices.” (George Will).

Thankfully, the arithmetic is adding up to Trump being voted out in the November election.

The Skewed Logic of the Dumbass in Chief

Yesterday Trump said,
If we did half the testing, we’d have half the cases. If we did another, you cut that in half, we would have, yet again, half of that. Trump made that idiotic statement even as Covid-19 outbreaks continue to surge across the nation and deaths begin to pick up pace.

Let’s follow Trump’s logic. That means that if we did only 25% of the testing, we’d have only 25% of the Covid-19 cases; and if we did no testing at all, we’d have no Covid-19 cases at all.
Utter stupidity from an imbecilic dimwit. Trump is an insult to those of us with a brain.

Trump’s logic is that of someone who never learned how to add 1 + 1 in preschool, and yet Trump claims he’s a stable genius. Hardly. An
unstable idiot is far more accurate.

The Facts:

  • The U.S. has more coronavirus cases than any other country in the world with more than 3.4 million out of the roughly 13.3 million global cases. Trump can put his head in the sand all he wants to try to minimize the severity of the pandemic in the U.S. in order to brighten his chances for reelection, but that doesn’t change the fact that the U.S. has the most Covid-19 fatalities — 136,300 of the world’s approximately 576,800 deaths.
  • Across the country, more than a third of U.S. states reported record highs in daily new Covid-19 cases, based on a seven-day moving average as of Monday, according to a CNBC analysis of data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
  • As cases continue to surge, labs across the nation are falling behind in processing and delivering test results, according to Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp, two of the country’s biggest lab diagnostics companies.
  • On Monday, 14 states broke grim records in seven-day average hospitalization numbers, including Texas, California and Arizona, according to a CNBC analysis of data from the Covid Tracking Project.
If Trump’s mouth is moving, he’s probably lying. He doesn’t care about anything except himself and his chances for reelection.

Trump made at least 19 false and misleading claims in one speech

Trump billed his speech Tuesday as a “press conference” in which he would give updates about China. Instead, it was a vicious
52-minute rambling diatribe filled with pre-scripted whining, complaining and sissy-boy attacks on Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

As usual, Trump's comments were filled with egregious lies and other false claims. Read the CNN Fact Check article here, or watch Trump’s tirade here, if you can stomach watching him lie.

CNN Fact Check caught Trump lying on all of the following topics:

  • Biden and the suburbs
  • Biden and buildings
  • Biden and immigration
  • Obama, Biden and H1N1
  • Hunter Biden’s career
  • Fraud and mail-in voting
  • Trump and DACA
  • The border wall
  • Trump’s travel restrictions on Europe

Read Mary Trump’s New Book About Donald Trump!

“Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” the new book by Mary Trump, the president’s niece, went on sale in bookstores today. It reveals the truth about Trump and the toxic family that made him into the man who now threatens the world’s health, economic security and social fabric.

Robert Trump, the president's younger brother, filed suit last month seeking to block the book's publication, but in a 20-page ruling, New York State Supreme Court Justice Hal Greenwald said the bid by the president’s brother to block publication of his niece's book didn't pass legal muster.

The author has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and provides a granular portrait of Trump’s profound impairment: She says that her uncle has all nine clinical criteria for narcissism, although she insists that this diagnosis is only the tip of the psychological iceberg — he may also suffer from antisocial personality disorder, sociopathy, and/or dependent personality disorder, along with an undiagnosed learning disability that likely interferes with his ability to process information. The author goes on to say, “He is and always will be a terrified little boy. He is the damaged product of an absent mother and a sociopathic father.”

"If you're in the Oval Office today, what would you say to him?" ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos asked Mary in an exclusive interview. ”Resign," Mary Trump responded. She said that, after being “perverted” by the family’s deep-seated “issues," her uncle was destined to become a man “utterly incapable of leading this country, and it’s dangerous to allow him to do so.”

The book reportedly reveals how:

  • Trump ogled his own niece in a bathing suit and sought to fill one of his books with hit lists of “ugly” women who had rebuffed him.
  • Trump paid someone to take his SATs.
  • Trump was a vicious bully even as a child.
  • Freddy Trump—the author’s father—died alone in a hospital while Donald went to a movie.
The book already topped the Amazon bestseller list. Order your copy here.

In Gallup data from late May through June, Trump's approval was in negative territory in all categories of gender, age, race and ethnicity and education. The one bright spot: 57 percent of white voters with no college degree said they approve.

Trump's approval rating fell to 38 percent in a June Gallup poll, a dangerous position for an incumbent president. The current poll also indicates that Trump’s approval rating has dropped among independents, from 39% to 33%, as well as among Democrats, from 5% to 2%.

The bottom line is that the drop in Trump's job approval rating puts him in the company of George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter — the last two one-term presidents, who also had sub-40% approval ratings in June of their reelection years.

The Spiteful A$$hole in the Oval Office Sidelines Esteemed Dr. Fauci

Trump has sidelined the esteemed Dr. Anthony Fauci because Trump refuses to accept scientific fact and instead wants to spew out his own altered, vitriolic view of reality that the U.S. is doing well in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. Nothing could be further from the truth. The virus is immune to politics.

The Washington Post has reported that Trump has taken the unusual step of attacking a member of his own coronavirus task force by
providing a document to several media outlets that contains a list of comments made by Dr. Anthony Fauci in an effort to damage his reputation.

Trump is lying yet again solely to try to improve his reelection chances. The fact is that the worst 10 days of the spread of Covid-19 in the U.S. have occurred in the last 11 days, with Florida reporting 15,299 new Covid-19 cases yesterday — the highest number of new cases in a single day by any state since the coronavirus pandemic began. Trump is also irritated by and jealous of Dr. Fauci’s incredibly high approval ratings, and Trump’s malignant narcissism can’t handle it. A recent New York Times/Siena College poll showed that 67% of voters trusted Dr. Fauci for information on the coronavirus, compared with only a minuscule 26% who trusted Trump — and for good reason. Trump is an incessant liar and Dr. Fauci tells the truth — and Americans want the truth.

Let’s look at the real facts in the U.S. as of 7/12/20:

  • More than 3.2 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 have already been reported.
  • More than 135,000 people have already died of Covid-19.
  • The number of new, confirmed cases across the country has been at least 40,000 per day for most of the last two weeks, as the virus surges in hot spots across the southern and western United States.
  • At least 33 states are seeing higher rates of new cases compared to the previous week.
  • In Florida, Representative Donna Shalala said places like Miami are getting closer to shutting down for a second time. She said, “This is an American tragedy. It's out of control across the state because our governor [Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis] won't even tell everybody to wear masks.”
  • In Phoenix, Arizona, Mayor Kate Gallego (D) told CBS on "Face the Nation" today that her city was seeing positivity rates over 20% and setting records for ventilator use among Covid-19 patients.
  • In Texas, many hospitals are nearing capacity and Republican Governor Greg Abbott is admitting that "things will get worse" in the coming week.
  • Internal documents from the CDC warned that fully reopening K-12 schools and universities would pose the "highest risk" for spread of the virus.
Facts don’t lie, but Trump lies continuously and knows nothing about infectious diseases. Listen to Dr. Fauci for the real scientific facts on the coronavirus, and not the desperate imbecile in the Oval Office who is trying to diminish, discredit and sideline Dr. Fauci by downplaying the pandemic crisis solely to improve his reelection chances. Trump has shown little concern for the public health of the country.

Trump’s pathetic mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic is being appropriately reflected in the polls, with only 16 weeks left before the November election, where
Joe Biden leads Trump by double digits in national polls. In swing state polling, things are just as good for Biden — if not even better.

One Liar Commutes Another Liar’s Sentence

Earlier this year Trump’s longtime friend of 40 years, Roger Stone,
was convicted of all seven of the charges brought against him that included lying under oath to the House Intelligence Committee to protect Trump, witness tampering and obstructing a congressional committee proceeding — as part of former special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation. Stone was sentenced to three years and four months in prison, and in the end Trump was rightfully impeached. Trump can’t deny his impeachment or reverse it. He’s impeached forever, regardless of what he does.

In Trump’s world, crime pays. Trump is trying his best to rewrite the history of the Mueller investigation including selective declassification of intelligence materials, ramping up counter-investigation into the origins of the Russia probe, attempting to drop the case against Michael Flynn and retaliating against those who testified against him, including Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman. As part of all of this cover-up, Trump commuted the sentence of his old buddy and felon, Roger Stone, effectively rewarding Stone for his deceptions. You see, birds of a feather stick together — one liar protects another. That’s how it works in Trump’s world. But let’s tell it like it is — Trump is an incessant liar and a vindictive narcissist; and he’s going to try his best to turn this around to make himself appear to his stupid supporters like he’s some kind of hero, like Stone’s been wronged and Trump is the savior. Wrong! Everyone can see through his façade. Trump is merely one cheap liar who is commuting the sentence of another liar, this one an old buddy of his who was tried and found guilty in a court of law.

Kayleigh McEnany, Trump’s empty-head Barbie doll White House press secretary, said, “Roger Stone is a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump Presidency.” Very conveniently, McEnany’s statement did not mention that six of the seven felonies Stone was convicted of pertained solely to efforts to deceive Congress. Roger Stone is a criminal who was convicted of multiple crimes in a court of law, and he received the commutation simply because he's a friend of Trump. As we said earlier, in Trump’s world, crime pays.

Trump already has a handful of other controversial pardons on his list, including a string of pardons and commutations for former politicians and business leaders engaging in corrupt acts, including former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, billionaire financier Michael Milken, fraud mastermind Judith Negron and former San Francisco 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr.

“With this commutation, Trump makes clear that there are two systems of justice in America: one for his criminal friends, and one for everyone else.” (House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff)

"Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.” (Mitt Romney)

No Plan, No Brain Trump

There is no plan. There is no brain. Trump is delusional in believing his own claims that the United States is the world leader in beating Covid-19.

People are still arguing about wearing masks while Trump offers no cohesive plan. Instead, Trump’s coronavirus task force no longer holds daily briefings, and when it does, they are an exercise in dodging difficult questions and self-congratulation. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the one federal official with the knowledge and experience to offer sound advice on how to fight this pandemic, has been banished from these briefings by the idiot in the Oval Office, while
yesterday the U.S. hit a one-day record of 60,000 new coronavirus infections and 900 deaths. In America, 132,000 people have already died of this virus, and it continues to spike in many states; but Trump is doing nothing!

For Trump it’s not about beating the virus; it’s about getting reelected. He believes his re-election relies on creating an alternative reality in which tens of thousands of Americans -- now mostly in states where he is overwhelmingly popular -- are not being infected rather than actually beating back the pandemic.

Trump’s puppet, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who’s been drinking Trump’s Kool-Aid, insisted on Wednesday, ”The U.S. remains the world leader in the pandemic.” Well, he’s correct that the U.S. is the leader in the
spread of the pandemic.

The United States has just over 4% of the planet's population, but has a quarter of global cases of Covid-19 and nearly a quarter of the deaths. Intensive care units are filling up across southern and western states. It took the U.S. 99 days to reach one million cases, 43 days to get to 2 million and only 28 days to add another million. That's a frightful rate of increase; but
Trump is doing nothing except falsely claiming we’re winning the war against this pandemic.

There is no sign that any competence to deal with this pandemic will arrive anytime soon in the White House. "We just don't have the leadership to make that happen," Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of tropical medicine at Baylor School of Medicine, told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room." Trump's constant undermining of advisers has exacerbated a situation in which people either don't take the virus seriously or they indulge their fatigue with the lockdowns by letting their guards down.

Trump is a friggin’ idiot.

What kind of president….

  • ‘Divides’ instead of ‘unifies’ a nation?
  • Lies incessantly, gets caught in his lies, and then denies them?
  • Throws anyone and everyone under the bus for his own self-aggrandizement?
  • Uses tear gas and rubber bullets against peacefully protesting American citizens?
  • Acted too slowly and then continues to deny the seriousness of the pandemic, causing health experts to now predict that 200,000 Americans may be dead by election day?
  • Ignores health experts’ opinions by holding political rallies with no regard for wearing masks or practicing social distancing?
  • Refuses to set a good example by wearing a face mask to protect against Covid-19?
  • Supports white nationalists?
  • Is a known racist?
  • Is a flippant misogynist?
  • Has been accused of sexual abuse by over 20 heroic women?
  • Is a malignant narcissist?
  • Uses cheating as a way of life?
  • Calls people derogatory, childish names?
  • Hides like an adolescent behind his Twitter account?
  • Doesn’t read the daily White House briefings, but instead gets his news and advice from his favorite TV personalities?
  • Increased the national debt by over $2 trillion with no plan whatsoever for paying it back?
  • Was responsible for the longest government shutdown in American history?
  • Locks children in cages?
  • Refuses to release his tax returns?
  • Continues to claim broad powers that he does not have, simply to fire up his political base of ignorant supporters?
  • Withdraws the country from the World Health Organization, thereby damaging global efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, polio, tuberculosis and HIV?
Answer: One who is unequivocally unfit for office. A WORTHLESS PIG!

How anyone can vote for such a
pig is beyond human comprehension.

I am writing in protest of Pat Bagley’s cartoon, in which he depicted supporters of President Donald Trump leaning comfortably on a pig, which was lying in a pool of animal excrement labeled “racism.”As someone who was born and raised on a tenant farm in Wisconsin, I believe that an apology is in order. The pig is an animal of far more intelligence than it is credited with. Furthermore, every aspect of its body, from its bristles to its feet, has a use to humanity. Similarly, every farmer knows that animal excrement, which I spent my youth shoveling from barn gutters and hog pens, helps crops grow when liberally applied on a field. In contrast, the verbal excrement which the president spreads upon his base grows nothing but discontent and division, and he lacks porcine versatility and pound-for-pound value. In short, the president is not worth animal excrement, and his contributions pale in comparison to those of a pig, both of which to whom Bagley should apologize. (Richard Scharine in the Salt Lake Tribune)

“Instead of a moral compass in the Oval Office, there's a moral vacuum. Instead of words that uplift and unite, we hear words that inflame and divide. Another four years of this would degrade our country beyond repair. But this November, we can choose another direction. This November, unity and empathy are on the ballot. Experience and intelligence are on the ballot. Joe Biden is on the ballot, and I'm confident he will bring these qualities back to White House.” (Robert Redford)

Wonder No More About The Stupidity of Trump Supporters

A picture is worth at least a thousand words.

Is it any wonder why there is no way the U.S. is going to be getting on top of the Covid-19 pandemic anytime soon when we have legions of low-IQ Trump supporters like this guy in this world? He’s living proof that
stupidity is still not illegal in the United States. As of this morning, Covid-19 cases are now surging in 40 states.

Although it’s smart to wear a mask, and these cloth coverings have been proven effective in slowing the spread of the coronavirus, masks still seem to be a divisive topic, unfortunately divided along party lines. According to a new Gallup poll, 98 percent of Democrats report wearing a mask in the past week, as opposed to only 66 percent of Republicans. Why the division along party lines?

If wearing a mask slows the spread of the coronavirus, and the coronavirus is still spiking in 40 states, then it’s dumb, selfish, and irresponsible not to wear a mask. This is not a “rights” issue; it’s a “health” issue. Period. With only 66% of Republicans wearing masks in the past week, can anyone say “stupid Trump supporters?” Yes, we certainly can make that statement.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck. The non-thinking Republicans have proven their stupidity by following the example of Trump, their ignorant cult leader. The coronavirus doesn’t care about your wanting to get out of the house, go to the beach, party with friends, eat at your favorite restaurant, or anything else; it only wants to infect and kill you, and it’s still out there just as it was in February. So grow up and grow a brain! We have a societal responsibility to stop this pandemic.

An open letter to the public, signed by the American Hospital Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Nurses Association said, “We are not powerless in this public health crisis, and we can defeat it in the same way we defeated previous threats to public health—by allowing science and evidence to shape our decisions and inform our actions.”

So stop listening to opinions and advice from Trump and his following of incompetent politicians — they are fools! Instead, follow the recommendations of our nation’s top health experts on this health matter.

Even Republican Miami Mayor Francis Suarez said on MSNBC,
“It is no different, for me, than mandating a seat belt. I understand that there are people that get upset about it, that they think it is taking away their liberty and freedom. But the fact of the matter is, there's all kinds of rules that we implement for people's safety, whether it's stopping at a stop sign, or stopping at a red light, or wearing your seat belt. And those are things that we agree upon as a society so we can have order."

“If you can’t wear a mask…I got no respect for you.” (Tom Hanks)

If you won’t wear a mask 100% of the time when you’re out of your house in order to curb this pandemic, then you shouldn’t be allowed out of your house, and you should be ticketed and fined, the same as if you failed to stop at a stop sign or red light. It’s only when it hits you hard enough in your pocketbook that you’ll grow up and grow a brain!

This is a one-issue election: Are you for Trump or are you for America? It’s time, fellow Americans, to do anything and everything you can to bring out the vote for Biden!

The “Divider In Chief” is digging his political grave

Presidents normally unite a nation, especially during times of trouble. Not Trump. He’s the great “divider in chief.” He antagonizes, defies established laws, ignores health experts, promotes racism, throws anyone and everyone who disagrees with him under the bus, and then lies about it all when caught in those lies, thinking that if he sticks with his lies, he can change history.
Trump is useless and worthless.

The Associated Press reported, “These are times of pain, mass death, fear and deprivation and the Trump show may be losing its allure, exposing the empty space once filled by the empathy and seriousness of presidents leading in a crisis. Bluster isn’t beating the virus; belligerence isn't calming a restive nation. Angry and scornful at every turn, Trump used the totems of Mount Rushmore as his backdrop to play on the country's racial divisions, denouncing the ‘bad, evil people’ behind protests for racial justice. He then made a steamy Fourth of July salute to America on the White House South Lawn his platform to assail ‘the radical left, the anarchists, the agitators, the looters,’ and, for good measure, people with ‘absolutely no clue.’”

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’” (Brynn Tannehill)

As of today, we have only 120 more days to put up with Trump’s incompetence before we elect Joe Biden as our next president on Nov 3.

“No Mask” Trump Rallies Among His Stupid “No Mask” Supporters

For the fourth time in as many weeks, Trump held what amounted to re-election rallies
without either wearing a protective mask or requiring that attendees wear protective masks or practice social distancing, all while the coronavirus is spiking to new highs in states all across the country. In one worthless breath, Trump was praising our health care workers while in another worthless breath he was slapping them in the face by his immature and defiant actions, causing an overload in hospital admissions across our land. And all the while, Trump takes no responsibility for his actions. He doesn’t care one bit who dies as a result, so long as the events are good photo-ops for his reelection campaign. Trump is a sad and sick little loser of a man, and nothing more than an unfortunate “pot hole” to be eliminated from the history of the United States.

Trump spent the Fourth of July weekend giving divisive speeches in the grim monotone he employs when attempting to read from a script he doesn’t have the brains to author, all while attempting to sow national division between citizens, ignoring his failings on the coronavirus and vowing to fight what he branded the “new far-left fascism.” He signaled even more clearly that he would exploit race and cultural flash points to stoke fear among his base of white supporters in an effort to win re-election. He railed against what he called the “radical left” amid peaceful nationwide demonstrations and to declare the U.S. is making progress against the coronavirus, even as the U.S. recorded more than 50,000 new coronavirus cases for a third consecutive day, and even as political leaders around the country encouraged people not to attend July 4 gatherings. On the White House lawn on July 4, Trump even made the ignorant and dangerously misleading assertion without any evidence that 99% of coronavirus cases in America are “totally harmless” — an ignorant statement from an ignorant person.

The saddest part is that there still are incredibly na
ïve, gullible, and obviously uneducated supporters who continue to follow this evil malignant narcissist.

Trump has no foresight, no plan of action, and no remedy for the problems he has solely created while in office. The citizens of America have only seen three and a half years of chaos, incompetence, racism and division. Trump’s time for being replaced is long past due.
The best plan of action is for all citizens to vote for Biden in November. A vote for Biden is a vote for the rebuilding of the America that Trump did his best to rip down.

This is a one-issue election: Are you for Trump or are you for America?

The Girlfriend of Trump’s Eldest Son Tests Positive for the Coronavirus at Mount Rushmore

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Trump’s eldest son and a fund-raiser for the Trump re-election campaign, tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday, 7/3/20, before a Fourth of July event at Mount Rushmore. She traveled to South Dakota with Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. She also attended Trump’s indoor rally two weekends ago in Tulsa, OK.

A Trump spokesperson said that Guilfoyle and the younger Trump never met up with the president’s entourage in South Dakota. Darn!

Out of caution, the couple plans to drive back from South Dakota to the East Coast.
Hmmm, who are they going to infect, as asymptomatic spreaders, along their drive back, since they’ll need to eat, sleep and pee; and who have they already infected since Donnie’s “Coronavirus Rally” in Tulsa?

We’ve quoted it more than once, and we’ll quote it again: “Stupid is as stupid does.” (Forrest Gump)

Oh, and
as for Trump’s South Dakota rally, it was a non-event, with the petulant idiot spewing more racial division from his bully pulpit. Nothing of any value worth mentioning other than he’s doing a great job stumping for Joe Biden, our next president.

Trump repeatedly denied the CDC permission to brief the public on the coronavirus

  • The CDC was denied permission by Trump to brief the public on the coronavirus crisis.
  • The CDC found itself unable to do public briefings for three months, beginning not long after a senior official warned in late February that the virus was likely to hit the US hard.
  • At the time, this was a sharp contrast with predictions from Trump, who argued that the coronavirus did not seriously threaten the US.
  • Between March 9 and June 12 there were no CDC briefings. In that period, Trump increasingly led communications on the virus, spreading false claims and touting unproven cures.
As the coronavirus swept through the US, it was the White House coronavirus task force led by VP Mike Pence, and fronted with increasing frequency by Trump, that took the lead in briefing the public about the crisis. Earlier in the year the CDC had given frequent briefings on the pandemic. But then it fell abruptly silent, with Trump not allowing any public CDC briefings between March 9 and June 12.

"We continued to ask for approval" from the White House to hold briefings, the CDC spokesperson told Yahoo News. "We were not given approval. Finally, we just stopped asking."

Not giving the CDC approval was another of Trump’s predictable Hitlerian methods to suppress the free press and hide the real facts about the coronavirus from the public for the sole purpose of his own selfish political reelection agenda. Not surprisingly, Trump is now considering scapegoating the CDC for his own faltering response to the crisis. No surprise — Trump’s standard mode of operation is to DENY, DISMISS, DEFLECT, DENIGRATE, DIVIDE and DESTROY.

Trump’s “I alone can fix it” campaign can’t fix it!

(Some excerpts from The Washington Post)

“In 2016, Trump’s buffoonery was held up by some as a refreshing rejection of an ineffectual status quo. He would step up to the plate eventually, they thought,” said former Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, explaining the thinking that now dominates his party’s strategists.
“Today, it’s the same buffoonery, except it is killing people.”

About 7,500 guests are expected to gather to see Trump at Mount Rushmore for the 4th of July fireworks.
In keeping with the president’s preferences, the rally will occur without any mandates to socially distance or wear masks from South Dakota Gov. Kristi L. Noem (R), despite federal health guidelines that suggest them and overwhelming public opinion against such events.

“Mr. President, this is not about you,” Joe Biden said Tuesday, in a succinct summary of his message. “It’s about the health and well-being of the American public.”

Since Trump’s gut-based political style where, in 2015, he claimed, “I alone can fix it,” a pandemic and economic shutdown took hold. In the last two weeks, Trump has pushed for largely maskless mass gatherings in Arizona and Oklahoma, two states that have seen recent spikes in coronavirus cases. He also pushed for
the relocation of his nominating convention to Florida, another state battling an outbreak, to increase the odds that he is greeted by roaring crowds in late August.

Interestingly, some state Republican parties are
having trouble finding delegates who are willing to go to Trump’s convention due to coronavirus concerns. Trump has refused to deliver an acceptance speech unless the room is full. Some Republican delegates are refusing to risk getting the coronavirus just so they can be props in Trump’s convention show. Trump doesn’t care if his delegates get coronavirus and die. All he wants is the visual of a capacity crowd so that he looks good on TV.

“The challenge for Trump here is that
all of the risks that are being taken are done solely for his own benefit,” said Doug Heye, a Republican strategist and former spokesman for the Republican National Committee who did not vote for Trump. “That is, without question, going to cause some voters who would otherwise approve of things that his administration does to turn away from him. So by acting in his own very immediate self-interested interest, he’s hurting himself in the longer term, which is reelection.”

“If you have noticed, the president puts everything in terms of him,” Biden said. “It’s not about ‘I.’ It’s about us.”

No Face Mask — No Service!

A red-state Texas woman was caught on camera spitting on a 7-Eleven counter after the cashier refused to ring up her purchase because she was not wearing a mask. The woman spit on the counter after complaining and yelling obscenities at the cashier, saying she has "a right" not to wear a face mask. Wrong!

There is a mandatory face mask requirement in Fort Worth that went into effect June 26 and will last until at least August 3. The order says that "any person over the age of 10 that works in a business, is entering a business or is in an outdoor area where social distancing is not an option" needs to wear a mask.

So, lady, you and your attitude can take a hike until you both learn some manners and abide by the law! This is not a “rights” issue — it’s about saving lives! Grow a brain.

Racist Trump calls Black Lives Matter a “Symbol of Hate”

Trump said that painting the words "Black Lives Matter" on New York City's Fifth Avenue in front of Trump Tower would amount to a "symbol of hate," complaining that such an action would be "expensive" and "denigrating this luxury Avenue." That came roughly a day after he re-tweeted a video of supporters in an almost entirely white Florida retirement community shouting "white power" from a golf cart.

Trump also tweeted: “….horrible BLM chant, “Pigs In A Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon”. Maybe our GREAT Police, who have been neutralized and scorned by a mayor who hates & disrespects them, won’t let this symbol of hate be affixed to New York’s greatest street. Spend this money fighting crime instead!”

Mayor Bill de Blasio, commenting on Trump’s racist statement, said, “Here's what you don't understand: Black people BUILT 5th Ave and so much of this nation. Your 'luxury' came from THEIR labor, for which they have never been justly compensated. We are honoring them. The fact that you see it as denigrating your street is the definition of racism."

Mayor de Blasio also responded to Trump with this tweet: “You also don’t know that NY’s Finest are now a majority people of color. They already know Black Lives Matter. There is no “symbol of hate” here. Just a commitment to truth. Only in your mind could an affirmation of people’s value be a scary thing.”

Respected New York Governor Andrew Cuomo commented, "Great, I said from day one I stand with the protesters. I said from day one I stand with Black Lives Matter."

Trump is sinking further behind Joe Biden in the presidential race, so in his warped and twisted mind he is now indulging in a string of blatant appeals to racism.

"What voters are looking for is a way to get balance and peace back in the nation and in the White House," said Peter Hart, the veteran Democratic pollster. "Everything Trump does is confrontation."

Trump is a racist and a white nationalist pig, and it’s time the people of America get rid of him and squelch those who follow his racist views, both of whom are destroying what the United States of America stands for.

The only way Trump would consume intelligence is if his staff told him it was Häagen-Dazs.
(Emily Brandon)

Trump’s White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, the “puppet” who twists the truth and lies as much as, or even more than, Trump himself, claimed, “The president does read and he also consumes intelligence verbally. This president, I’ll tell you, is the most informed person on the planet Earth when it comes to the threats we face.”

The president does read? The need for even calling a press conference and stating that phrase evokes extreme doubt. It’s sort of like “the president does chew.” What’s the point of even stating it unless doubt has been raised about it? And then McEnany went on to state that “he also consumes intelligence verbally.” Oh, really? Why then was the White House saying the day before that Trump hadn’t been briefed on the bounties and the next day saying “He’s the most informed person on matters of national security?” You’re revealing way too much of your inherent stupidity, Kayleigh.

McEnany, with her typical “Stepford wife-like” unemotional face, was attempting to explain away damning reports that Trump was either not briefed or didn’t pay attention to intelligence reports that raised concerns that the Russian government was paying bounties to Taliban fighters to kill U.S. soldiers.

Trump is known for not reading his daily briefings, but rather for gathering his information and advice from his favorite TV talk show personalities and his friends.

Here’s what others have said about McEnany’s remarks:

  • “‘Consuming intelligence verbally’ is what stoners call snacking on edibles and talking horseshit.” (Philip O’Connor)
  • “Nothing hammers home the WH talking point that Joe Biden is old and confused quite like insisting that their guy knows how to read.” (Brian Tyler Cohen)
  • “How can she not burst out laughing when she says that ‘Donald Trump is the most informed person on Earth.’” (@billymocolorad2)
  • “Can you imagine calling a press conference in one hour with the main talking point being — ‘The President Does Read.’” (Jonathan Gaffney)
  • “Hearing he can also drink from a glass, but unconfirmed at this point.” (Matt Flammable)
The time is way past due for Trump to leave office.

BREAKING NEWS:

The statistics are now in, and it’s no surprise. Coronavirus cases rose by nearly 50 percent last month, led by states that reopened first. In other words, those governors who caved in to Trump’s demands to open their states too early are now paying the price for Trump’s stupidity and their own stupidity for following the pressuring from their cult leader.

The fast pace of infection serves as a grim reminder that the risk of contracting the coronavirus remains. Health experts are pleading with Americans to take the pandemic seriously before it’s too late.

Trump said he still hopes the virus will fade away on its own. “I think we are going to be very good with the coronavirus,” Trump said during a Fox Business interview. “I think that, at some point, that’s going to sort of just disappear, I hope.” Statements like that make it strikingly clear that we have a useless and inept idiot in the Oval Office. Unfortunately, Trump has no strategy, no plan, no blueprint for success. There’s only a confused amateur peddling happy talk.

In our world there are no do-overs for failures of Trump's magnitude. His time for leaving office is way past due.
