The writing is on the wall. Trump just parted ways with FIVE lawyers handling his impeachment defense. Mark our words: Trump’s next move will be a predictable delay tactic saying he needs more time to prepare his defense. Anything to push the trial out further. Anything to attempt to make people forget what an insurgent, insurrectionist and traitor he is.

The citizens say ‘NO!’ Ready or not, the trial should start on the agreed-upon date of Feb. 9. Trump had plenty of time to prepare, and if he now decided to part ways with his legal team, that’s his personal problem, not ours. He can drag his fat ass down to the Senate chamber and defend himself if need be. Trump has actually insisted that the case is “simple” and has told advisers he could argue it himself and save the money on lawyers. Great. Go for it, Donnie.

How Ignorant & Dangerous Are QAnon Cult Members & Conspirators?

“We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.” Those were the words of Nikita Khrushchev, Russia’s Communist leader, in 1956, and they are coming to fruition in 2021 with QAnon Republicans and fringe extremists.

What does QAnon believe? In general, QAnon believes Trump is in the middle of a biblical war against a “deep state,” satanic cabal of baby-eating, child sex-traffickers led by prominent members of the Democratic party, entertainers who espouse liberal opinions, anybody who mentions “pizza,” (symbolizing pedophilia) and authoritative sources who relay credible information that may cast a negative light on the president. Proponents of this theory believe that one day soon the “storm” will come and Trump, with the help of an anonymous high-ranking military official known as “Q,” will round up members of the deep state, arrest them, and possibly have them executed. At its core, QAnon believes that the news is fake, that scientists are wrong, and that anyone who voices opposition to the Trump administration is likely in, or at least being controlled by, the deep state. These are very ignorant and, at the same time, very dangerous people.

QAnon is starting to gain mainstream acceptance in the Republican party. According to Alex Kaplan, a researcher with Media Matters, more than 70 current or former congressional candidates supported QAnon in 2020. The vast majority of these candidates were Republicans. The QAnon movement has infiltrated Congress with the election of Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia. Just this morning Greene tweeted that she had spoken with Trump, the cult-leading insurrectionist pig, claiming she had his backing. Nobody gives a rat’s ass about what Trump either thinks or who he’s endorsing. The Republican Party faces pressure to punish Greene for her embrace of conspiracy theories and her history of extremist and racist rhetoric. Greene has embraced QAnon and far-right conspiracy theories, including the notion that Jewish-controlled space lasers were responsible for recent wildfires. Greene is living proof that stupidity and ignorance are alive and well in America.

National security veterans told Business Insider that the Capitol siege was just the tip of the iceberg on threats by white, right-wing extremists who are using conspiracies to groom people to commit violence. “The threat we're facing right now is not only real but deeply embedded — and cult-like — in our society,” said Frank Montoya, Jr., a recently retired FBI special agent. If the attack had come from ISIS or Al-Qaeda, “there would be blue-ribbon commissions, legislation, billions of dollars and thousands of employees from across the government thrown at the problem,” he added. “The First Amendment and civil liberties are paramount, but far-right extremism isn't about that. It's about insurrection.”

The Biden administration will need to employ a whole-of-government response that treats domestic, far-right extremism as a threat to national security, foreign policy, economic policy, and the overall health of the United States.

QAnon conspirators must be eradicated now that their deranged “messiah” has been voted out of office before their twisted theories become mainstream. They are a serious threat to democracy.

QAnon GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia is a She-Devil and a supporter of Trump, the disgraced and mentally deranged malignant narcissist. She has infiltrated the House of Representatives.

A CNN exposé found numerous examples of Greene endorsing and openly calling for assassinating prominent Democrats on her social media feeds, among them were proposals to execute Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Nancy Pelosi on deranged charges of treason.

Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) announced yesterday that he will put forward a House resolution to call for the expulsion of Greene for her open advocacy of political violence.

“Such advocacy for extremism and sedition not only demands her immediate expulsion from Congress, but it also merits strong and clear condemnation from all of her Republican colleagues, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell,” Gomez said. “Her very presence in office represents a direct threat against the elected officials and staff who serve our government, and it is with their safety in mind, as well as the security of institutions and public servants across our country.”

Wednesday, a video Greene posted to YouTube this month featuring her berating the gun control activist David Hogg, a survivor of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, in 2018, also circulated online.

Hillary Clinton tweeted: "This woman should be on a watch list. Not in Congress."

Rep. Jim McGovern, R-Mass., tweeted: “And they wonder why we don’t want members carrying guns onto the House Floor.”

There should be no tolerance for such an evil person like Marjorie Taylor Greene in the United States Congress.

Pennsylvania’s establishment Republicans have devolved into Trump cultists, and it’s never been so obvious as in the past two months when Republicans have taken on the unsuccessful role of trying to override President Joe Biden’s victory.

Trump supporters are very stupid people. That’s a given.

For example, in a CNN KFile review of hundreds of posts and comments from the Facebook account of Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a new House member from Georgia and another stupid Trump supporter, she repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before being elected to Congress, along with frequently posting far-right QAnon extremist and debunked conspiracy theories. This is the kind of person non-thinking Trump supporters elected to office.

After clinging to Trump, the mentally deranged cult leader, the GOP nominees for governor and senator lost by double digits in 2018. Democrats, on the other hand, picked up House seats that year in what used to be a Republican stronghold.

The devotion to the Trumpster, however, comes at great expense. The Republican party risks tying its future to a one-term president whose deeply polarizing style cost the party both the House and the Senate during his four years in office.

The Republican party has changed. “It’s not the party that I belonged to years ago,” said Robert Byer, a former Republican judge and legal counsel for George H.W. Bush’s 1988 presidential campaign in Pennsylvania. “The whole notion that officeholders could impugn the integrity of the election in our commonwealth, it bothers me greatly. It bothers me as a citizen.”

In related news, Google’s political action committee, NetPAC, has decided it won't be giving any money in the 2022 midterm elections to any member of Congress who voted earlier this month to overturn the Electoral College results showing Joe Biden had won the presidential election. Nearly 150 Republican lawmakers voted to toss out the election results hours after Trump supporters rioted at the U.S Capitol to protest the outcome. Amazon also said it would suspend political contributions to lawmakers who voted to overturn the results.

The only thing these Trump cult-following legislators will understand is hitting them hard in their wallets. Good move, corporate America!

Don’t Buy “MyPillow” Products

Mike Lindell, the MyPillow CEO and fervent supporter of twice-impeached Trump, has been permanently suspended from Twitter for making repeated false claims about the 2020 US election and violating the platform's policy on misinformation.

Lindell used Twitter to defend Trump, his friend and cult leader, and suggested that Trump impose "martial law" in the seven states where he was contesting the results of the election. He also tweeted that some Georgia voters should "go to prison" as a punishment for Joe Biden's win there.

Lindell visited Trump at the White House on January 16 to offer last-minute suggestions on how Trump could subvert Biden's election to remain in power.

At one point Lindell said he'd been tasked by Trump to find "good sanitizers or cures" for the coronavirus. Lindell told the Associated Press that Trump promised to endorse him should he run for Minnesota governor. The very last thing America needs is another demented Trump cult follower in any elected office!

Corporate Donors Pull Republican Lawmakers’ Funding

Dozens of companies have pulled funding from the Republican lawmakers who voted against President Biden’s certification. The mass exodus of corporate backing could affect how senators vote on Trump’s upcoming impeachment trial.

After Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol in a desperate bid to overturn the presidential election results, which turned into a violent insurrection leaving five people dead, businesses have been quick to cut ties with Trump and the lawmakers who backed his baseless claims of election fraud.

Walmart, Amazon, and Morgan Stanley are among the companies that have cut off political funding to the 147 GOP lawmakers who voted against certifying Joe Biden as president. Hallmark has even asked Republican Senators Josh Hawley and Roger Marshall, who both voted against President Biden's certification, to refund its political donations. Other companies who are cutting off funding are Microsoft, Dow, AT&T, JPMorgan, Citibank, Facebook, Airbnb, Google, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Disney and Commerce Bank, while the following companies are in the process of reviewing their positions on political contributions: FedEx, Target, CVS Health, Berkshire Hathaway Energy, Ford and Bank of America.

"Cutting funding hits these politicians where it hurts," Donald Hambrick, a professor of management at Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, told Business Insider. Withholding donations is "probably the more profound of the actions that can be taken," he added.

Great move, Corporate America! If these legislators refuse to vote based on the will of the people they supposedly represent, then hit them where it hurts — in their pocketbooks!

One of President Biden’s first executive orders this week requiring mask-wearing on federal properties is already receiving pushback from ignorant Republicans who are attempting to turn it into a political issue instead of a common sense health issue. • Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), who said, “The Biden administration is already headed in the wrong direction. Continued federal overreach won’t end the Covid-19 pandemic or put food on the table.” (Note: President Biden’s order has nothing to do with putting food on anyone’s table!)
• Brendan Steinhauser, a Texas-based GOP strategist and former campaign manager to Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), said, “Definitely expect lawsuits from our state, private lawsuits.”
• Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) chided President Biden’s mask mandate idea on Twitter, saying, “On day one I will tell you to kiss my ass.”
• Florida state Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who has filed more than a dozen local lawsuits to battle mask mandates in counties across the state, challenged the notion that masks actually reduce the spread of the virus.

Republican Congressman Andy Harris of Maryland Tried To Bring A Gun Onto The House Floor

Why does a Congressman need to illegally sneak a concealed gun onto the House floor, and then when caught by Capitol police, attempt to hand off that gun to another Congressman who does not even have a gun license? Well established rules are that under no circumstances are lawmakers allowed to bring firearms onto the House floor.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York said, “The moment you bring a gun onto the House floor in violation of rules, you put everyone around you in danger. It is irresponsible, it is reckless, but beyond that it is the violation of rules. You are openly disobeying the rules that we have established as a community, which means that you cannot be trusted to be held accountable to what we've decided as a community. And so I don't really care what they say their intentions are, I care what the impact of their actions are, and the impact is to put all 435 members of Congress in danger.”

Rep. Andy Harris' office did not immediately return a request for comment on his illegal actions.

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, who filmed a campaign advertisement vowing to carry her handgun around Capitol Hill prior to arriving in Washington, was also involved in a standoff with Capitol Police at the newly installed metal detectors when trying to get on the floor on January 12th.

After the initial criticism from lawmakers, and reports that some refused to stop for Capitol Police after setting off the magnetometers, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi proposed a new rule on January 13, imposing stiff fines on members who refused to follow the new security measures: $5,000 for the first offense and $10,000 for the second offense. The new rule has not been passed yet and will be considered when floor votes resume in the House in February.

President Biden’s Inauguration Was So Much Better Without Trump

Wednesday marked the first time in more than 150 years that a sitting president did not attend the swearing-in of his successor, and it was better because of it.

Trump proved he is a coward and a loser, jetting off to the safety of his sanctuary at his personal “kingdom” at Mar-a-Lago hours before the inauguration.

Another Trump candidacy would further divide and undermine the Republican Party, making it more vulnerable in future congressional and presidential races, several Republicans have said. Many blame Trump for this month's losses by two Republican senators in Georgia, defeats that cost the party control of the chamber.

A majority (56%) of Americans believe the Senate should both remove Trump from office and disqualify him from running again, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll released yesterday.

Trump loyalist, QAnon conspiracist, and vocal Republican anti-masker Marjorie Taylor Greene has infiltrated Congress with her dangerous views and beliefs.

Freshman Georgia Congresswoman Greene declared on Twitter, “On January 21, 2021, I’ll be filing Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden for abuse of power.” So far, no other members of Congress have rallied behind her. Obviously not — they’re not as stupid as she is.

Greene added, “Democrats are on record supporting violence when it serves their cause. They should be removed today for supporting violence against the American people.” This statement comes, of course, after the deadly insurrection at the Capitol which was led by her own party’s riotous supporters.

Greene is an outspoken supporter of QAnon, a conspiracy theory based on a series of anonymous messages posted online by a mystery figure named “Q.” QAnon believers think that Trump is engaged in a shadowy war against a cabal of global elites, including the Democratic Party, and will soon arrest or even execute top Democrats in an event they refer to as “The Storm.” QAnon adherents also believe Trump is secretly saving the world from a cabal of child-eating Satanists, and that Trump will somehow force a 10-day, countrywide blackout that ends in the mass execution of his political enemies and a second Trump term. Despite such ludicrous claims, Greene has praised QAnon. In a video posted online, she called the anonymous “Q” a “patriot” and said that Q’s predictions had been accurate. This tells us all we need to know about Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene’s dangerous views are filled with more Trump-infiltrated, traitorous and anarchist thinking that must be squelched before such “cancer” spreads.

Cut Off Republican Funding — Hit Them Where It Counts!

The New York Times is reporting that a lengthening list of blue-chip giants of corporate America, from Amazon to Walmart, is pledging to cut off funds to Republicans who opposed certifying the victory of President-elect Joe Biden. Some of the biggest corporate givers in America, including AT&T, Comcast, Cisco, Morgan Stanley and Verizon, have started cutting off donations to the 147 Republicans who voted against certifying the 2020 election results. (Note: Incidentally, that is the list of spineless Republicans to be sure to VOTE OUT in the next election!).

It’s about time! Cut off their money!

The people of America spoke loudly and Joe Biden won the November election by a landslide. The people graded the report card of the impeached American traitor, and they voted him out. It was a simple vote count. More than two dozen top CEOs may withdraw financial support from Republicans who have backed Trump's challenge to the election result, Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, the founder of Yale's Chief Executive Leadership Institute, said Tuesday. Business leaders want to spread the message that it’s time to move on and respect the Constitution. Those who won’t get on board can get out.

As for the spineless Republicans continuing to support Trump, Bloomberg has reported that a consistent line of lower-level impeachments in the past suggests the Senate retains power to put Trump on trial even after his term ends. If it convicts him, the Senate could take a second vote to bar him from running for office again. Bye, bye, Donnie!

Trump, the Worthless American Traitor & Insurgent, has now been impeached TWICE!

In a House vote of 232-197, Trump was impeached today for the second time in 13 months, this time for inciting a riot with false claims of a stolen election that led to the storming of the Capitol and five deaths. The vote today even attracted 10 Republicans.

Trump is the only president in history to be impeached twice. Trump is nothing but a LOSER.

It is now time to start the Senate trial with the intent of convicting Trump and removing him from office, and just as importantly, voting to prevent Trump from ever running for any elected office in the future.

Business Partners Flee The Trump Brand

The already-struggling Trump brand, facing huge unpaid loans, is suffering additional backlashes due to Trump’s own making.

Trump’s longtime friend Tom Barrack advised Trump that he could help his own business — as well as his aides, and the country itself — by ensuring a peaceful transition, an elegant exit. But Trump did not follow his friend’s advice. So Trump will now face a painful future: millions of dollars in legal costs, rampant investigations and more boycotts of his businesses.

In the past week, Trump’s business has lost a bank, an e-commerce platform and the privilege of hosting a world-famous golf tournament, and its hopes of hosting another have been dashed. Four Trump-branded hotels have closed, and the company’s plans for new hotel chains have fizzled. In the future, the Trump Organization also could lose its D.C. hotel. On Monday, Signature Bank in New York said it was closing Trump’s personal bank accounts, which had about $5.3 million in them, saying that this was a reaction to the “displeasure and shock” of bank executives after Trump’s attack on our Capitol on Jan. 6th. Signature Bank also called on Trump to resign.

Trump lost the PGA Championship, one of golf’s four majors, which was scheduled to be played at his Bedminster, N.J., club in 2022. In Britain, the organizers of the British Open said they would not use Trump’s Turnberry club in Scotland for “the foreseeable future.” New York City said it was “reviewing whether legal grounds exist” to terminate Trump’s contracts for ice rinks, the carousel and the city-owned golf course. Professional Bank — a Florida entity that lent Trump’s company $11.2 million in 2018 to buy the president’s sister’s home near Mar-a-Lago — said it would no longer do business with Trump. At Deutsche Bank, which had bailed Trump out of financial hardships before, his personal banker resigned recently. And Trump’s existing $400 million in loans with Deutsche Bank are on properties that have suffered severely from pandemic-related business closures.

Impeach the Traitor!

On Tuesday an unrepentant Trump denied inciting an insurrection at the US Capitol on Jan. 6th, in a fruitless attempt to shift the blame to Democrats who he rejected as “despicable,” as a number of senior Republicans also began publicly turning against their cult leader.

Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.), the third-ranking House Republican, and Rep. John Katko (N.Y.), the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, both publicly held Trump responsible for last Wednesday’s violence. They were joined by Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), a frequent Trump critic. A White House official says they expect as many as 25 Republicans to defect from Trump and vote for impeachment in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

What’s different during this second impeachment of Trump is that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has indicated that he believes that impeaching Trump will make it easier to get rid of the President and Trumpism from the Republican Party. McConnell is furious about last week's attack on the US Capitol by Trump’s supporters, and even more so that Trump has shown no contrition; and believes that the Democrats’ move to impeach him will make it easier to purge Trump from the party.

“The president of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack,” Cheney said in a statement, adding, “There has never been a greater betrayal by a president of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.”

Democrats accuse Trump of stoking violence and, along with some Republicans, are expected to vote to impeach him on Wednesday for "incitement of insurrection" against the government of the United States — the only president in the history of the United States to be impeached twice. "It took 200 years for the country to rack up its first two presidential impeachments. Trump's malfeasance has led the country down that awful, divisive path twice in just more than a year,” said CNN’s Stephen Collins.

Trump’s personal banker, Signature Bank, and his biggest lender, Deutsche Bank, are both severing ties with him. These steps underscore just how toxic the Trump brand has become after last week's storming of the US Capitol.

The FBI has received information indicating "armed protests" are being planned at all 50 state capitols and the US Capitol in Washington, DC in the days leading up to President-Elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20, according to an internal bulletin obtained by CNN.

Trump supporters are not “American Patriots.” They’re nothing but mobs of uneducated thugs and insurgents — domestic terrorists — and are responsible for five deaths during their rioting last week. Patriots don’t storm the Capitol or threaten their own country with uprisings.

Trump did not have the courage to swarm the Capitol alongside his terrorist supporters on Jan. 6th. He announced earlier that day that he would accompany them in their march. But his previously exposed cowardice took over, and Trump decided to party and celebrate with family members at the White House while watching the escalating mob on TV. There are reports that he was "delighted" at what he was seeing.

There are two — not just one — compelling reasons for the immediate removal of Trump. First, he incited the insurrection of our federal government by a violent mob of domestic terrorists — nothing short of a coup attempt. Second, he has killed 372,000 Americans with his unimaginable and unexplainable inaction during the coronavirus pandemic. We have been grappling with mass deaths due to a virulent disease that could have been largely prevented by a competent and mentally healthy president. Every move Trump has made — or has not made — has increased the number of deaths rather than reduced them. It is an undeniable fact that Trump is an accomplice to mass murder.

In both the insurrection and the pandemic, Trump betrayed the American people. He has disavowed his oath of office and his Constitutional duties. Trump has proven to be unstable, erratic, cruel and dangerous. He is incapable of ensuring the safety of the American people and is not fit to remain as president for his final week. Our democracy's recovery and future well-being require that Trump be totally disempowered.

Today the House of Representatives is charging Trump with “incitement of insurrection” where he faces a second impeachment. The Trump “shit show” continues.

The federal criminal code (18 USC 373) makes it a crime to solicit, command, induce or “endeavor to persuade” another person to commit a felony that includes the threat or use of physical force. Simply put, it is a crime to persuade another person, or a mob of several thousand, to commit a violent felony.

Several of Trump’s insurrectionists at the riot he incited at the Capitol last week have already been charged with felonies.

Trump solicited the mob into a seditious conspiracy. That felony, including the use of force, clearly was committed by the mob after being encouraged by Trump. As such, Trump should be locked up.

An ABC News poll released yesterday revealed that the majority (56%) say Trump should be removed from office before his term ends.

Nancy Pelosi said, “In protecting our Constitution and our Democracy, we will act with urgency, because this president represents an imminent threat to both. As the days go by, the horror of the ongoing assault on our democracy perpetrated by this president is intensified and so is the immediate need for action."

If the House does move forward with a second impeachment of Trump, it is highly likely that the measures will pass the Democratic-controlled lower chamber. It is expected that a vote could go ahead as early as Wednesday this week. Articles of impeachment will then be passed onto the Senate, which is now effectively controlled by the Democrats.

If our democracy is to recover from the toddler-in-chief’s assault, he must be held accountable and prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and not simply allowed to walk away merely because his term in office is ending. Trump is not above the law.

America Has The Responsibility To Hold Trump Accountable!

When a sitting president incites a riot against his own government, the people have the responsibility to hold him accountable.

Trump is an American traitor. He’s despicable and worthless. Even if there was only one day left before the end of his term in office, the effort of impeaching Trump now is necessary to set the precedent for the future that traitorous actions such as were incited by Trump in the heinous assault on the Capitol on Jan. 6th cannot and will not be tolerated.

Yesterday, President-Elect Biden tweeted a line from a past speech saying, “Our president is not above the law. Justice serves the people — it doesn’t protect the powerful.”

Rep. David Cicilline (D., R.I.) said Saturday on CNN that they now have 185 Democratic supporters favoring impeachment as fallout from the deadly riot at the Capitol continued. “We have a responsibility to hold him accountable and take this action,” Mr. Cicilline told CNN. Trump must not only be removed from office immediately, but Congress must take the action of preventing him from running for any elected office in the future.

“This puts Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., Ivanka, all of them, into the dustbin of history. That name will now forever be associated with insurrection,” said George Clooney.

Trump is both a loser and a failure.

Trump’s Bully Pulpit Is Cut Off

The demonic malignant narcissist has lost his Twitter bully pulpit. Twitter permanently cut off Trump's personal account and access to his nearly 90 million followers late on Friday, three days after Trump exhorted thousands of supporters to march on the Capitol as Congress met to certify his defeat to Democrat Joe Biden.

Twitter said it "had permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence." Good move, Twitter!

Politico reported that Trump went “ballistic” after his account was suspended. Trump was “scrambling to figure out what his options are.” Trump used Twitter to fire advisers, sink legislative initiatives, encourage social duress and, lastly, praise the scores of MAGA faithful, just days after hundreds of them violently ransacked the Capitol.

Narcissists like Trump are fueled by their ability to have an audience on social media. Without it, they’re dead. Trump used Twitter as a “political weapon” to spew forth misinformation and to incite violence, so this was an excellent move by Twitter to cut Trump off from his ability to do that through social media. Although this action is long overdue, we commend Twitter for its move.

For Trump, the Twitter ban was yet another shameful and dishonorable passage to the final chapter of his presidency. As Politico reported, Trump entered office boasting of how he was the “Hemingway of 140 characters” and crediting Twitter in particular for powering his political ascent. More than 56,000 tweets later, he leaves it amid a futile game of Whac-A-Mole with the tech moguls he despises, exiled to the outer provinces of the Internet.

Facebook has also "indefinitely" banned Trump from the website. Amen.

White House Staff Bails From Trump

After the Trump-incited insurrection against the United States in which the Capitol building was stormed by Trump’s rioting supporters, the list of administration resignations is increasing. Very few want their name associated with Trump, the traitor, any longer.

Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos resigned their posts. Mick Mulvaney, a former White House chief of staff who is now the U.S. special envoy for Northern Ireland, also quit, as did Matthew Pottinger, the deputy national security adviser, and Stephanie Grisham, chef of staff and press secretary to Melania Trump.

Other resignations include the head of the Capitol Police and the sergeants at arms for the House and Senate.

The one resignation needed the most is that of Trump himself, which hasn’t yet happened.

The next best thing that could have happened since Trump’s insurrection has already happened, namely turning off his bully pulpit — muzzling Trump — by banning him from using Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. In effect, it’s a “virtual impeachment,” said Trump biographer Gwenda Blair, and it’s long overdue. “It’s like he disappeared off the face of the earth,” said Tony Schwartz, the co-author of The Art of the Deal, “not being on Twitter.”

Without Twitter, what is Trump? Answer: Nothing. “He is the leader of the mob, and a leader must communicate to maintain his position to incite and to ignite,” added Hank Sheinkopf, a longtime Democratic strategist in New York who’s known Trump for decades. “Now he can do none of it.”

Malignant narcissists like Trump need an audience like you and I need air and water. Depriving Trump of that audience was the very best action toward making him irrelevant and insignificant.

Schumer Calls For Invoking 25th Amendment To Remove Trump

Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer called for Trump to be removed from office through the 25th Amendment after a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol yesterday.

“What happened at the U.S. Capitol yesterday was an insurrection against the United States, incited by the president. This president should not hold office one day longer," Schumer said in a statement. “The quickest and most effective way — it can be done today — to remove this president from office would be for the Vice President to immediately invoke the 25th amendment. If the Vice President and the Cabinet refuse to stand up, Congress should reconvene to impeach the president," he added.

We wholeheartedly agree! Trump is obviously unstable and not mentally fit to hold office any longer. The United States of America is in danger as a result of having Trump in office!

Pence has so far refused to consider invoking the 25th Amendment.

Joe Biden’s Win Is Certified By Congress After Trump’s Riotous Coup!

Congress has solidified Joe Biden as the next President of the United States. The process is finally over.

Vice President Mike Pence defied Trump early Thursday morning as he affirmed President-elect Joe Biden’s November victory, putting an end to Trump’s futile and illegal efforts to subvert American democracy and overturn the results of the election.

Trump’s riotous “coup” was finally suppressed by police, the FBI and the National Guard after his enraged mob of mutinous cult members stormed, breached and then ransacked the US Capitol in an unruly insurrection — the first time since the British in 1814. Our democratic process, however, prevailed. The Congress then worked late into the night to continue with the affirming of Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election.

Four people died as a result of the riotous event put in motion by Trump.

At least four White House officials resigned as a result of yesterday’s mayhem: Matt Pottinger, deputy national security advisor; Stephanie Grisham, chief of staff of Melania Trump; Anna Christina ‘Rickie’ Niceta, White House social secretary; and Sarah Matthews, deputy White House press secretary.

Former President Bill Clinton tweeted that: “The match was lit by Donald Trump and his most ardent enablers, including many in Congress, to overturn the results of an election he lost.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who has aligned himself closely with Trump, said in a fiery floor speech late Wednesday that he had tried to support Trump but “enough is enough.” “Trump and I, we had a hell of a journey. I hate it being this way....All I can say is count me out. Enough is enough....We've got to end it,” Graham said.

Trump should be removed from office before the inauguration and locked up for high treason to our nation. He poses an immediate danger to our democracy.

Trump incited a crowd of his supporters today that led to both violence and a physical breach of the U.S. Capitol by his riotous cult members and domestic terrorists.

Charles Ramsey, the former chief of the DC Metropolitan Police, called today’s breach of U.S. Capitol Wednesday afternoon by Pro-Trump protesters "as close to a coup attempt as this country has ever seen."

Asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper what Trump should do, Ramsey said, “What I would want the President to do is shut the hell up and get out of the way. I mean, the guy is — he’s like a cancer, you know.”

DC Attorney General Karl A. Racine called on President Trump to tell his supporters to immediately "cease and desist.” He continued, “We urge President Trump to do what he has not yet done, but what he must do: order his supporters to leave the District of Columbia and fully embrace the transition of power to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.”

Trump's first chief of staff, Reince Priebus, said, ”Many of these folks are nothing but domestic terrorists. And many are criminals and trouble makers all acting in a manner opposite of patriotism. These violent people have no respect for democracy. Pure insanity and disgusting."

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) tweeted to Trump, saying, “You are not protecting the country. Where is the DC guard? You are done and your legacy will be a disaster.”

While retweeting one of her father’s tweets, Ivanka Trump addressed the rioters as "American Patriots" before she deleted the tweet! Ivanka is an absolutely worthless bitch — a traitor to America, just like her father!

All of what happened today rests on the shoulders of Trump.

Former President Barack Obama said, “History will rightly remember today’s violence at the Capitol, incited by a sitting president who has continued to baselessly lie about the outcome of a lawful election, as a moment of great dishonor and shame for our nation. But we’d be kidding ourselves if we treated it as a total surprise.”

Former President Bill Clinton said, “The assault was fueled by more than four years of poison politics spreading deliberate misinformation, sowing distrust in our system, and pitting Americans against one another. The match was lit by Donald Trump and his most ardent enablers, including many in Congress, to overturn the results of an election he lost.”

Democrats flip the Senate!

In a long-overdue and devastating blow to Trump, America’s biggest loser, and his Republican party, Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock won their respective races against both incumbent Republican senators from Georgia.

The Senate will now consist of 50 Republicans, 48 Democrats, and two Independents who caucus with the Democratic Party, resulting in a 50-50 split. But Democrats will effectively control the Senate because Vice President-elect Kamala Harris holds the tie-breaking vote. Democracy in America can now move forward with President Biden’s policy changes to overturn the demonic and autocratic regime of Trump.

A recount of the votes will assuredly occur in both races to validate and certify the voice of the people, but that won’t change the voice of the people.

A major contributor to the Democratic win in Georgia was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s efforts to block the $2,000 Covid-19 stimulus checks. The shortsighted Republican legislators who then followed McConnell’s lead divided the Republican party and let the Democrats carry the day.

In other news, Trump is still erroneously insisting that VP Mike Pence has the power to overturn the election results and hand him a victory. Pence will read out the winner’s name, but he has no power to determine which name will be read out.

Last Tuesday, The New York Times reported that Pence tried to explain to Trump over lunch that he has no real power to change the election results. But Trump later told The New York Times in a statement that its reporting on the discussion was "fake news." The only thing “fake” here is Trump — The Fake President.

This will all come to a head in today’s formal count of the Electoral College’s votes in Congress.

Andrei Kozyrev, who was foreign minister under President Boris Yeltsin between 1991 and 1996, compared the challenge by Trump and his puppets to the November election results with concessions made in Russia in the 1990s which chipped away at its developing democracy and ushered in Vladimir Putin's grip on power. Kozyrev said, “The behavior of President Trump's supporters is also painfully familiar, with lawmakers fearful to follow the Constitution against the will of their party leader.” Kozyrev, whose book Firebird details the post-Soviet democratic development of Russia, said the path his country took in the 1990s has led to a "stagnant economy" presided over by lawmakers who are “reduced to being servants of the strong man and his acolytes.” Sound familiar? This is Trump’s plan — he’s following Putin’s playbook.

Trump turned his nearly 90-minute rally into a rambling lecture filled with conspiracy theories, rumors, unproven assertions and personal attacks on Democrats, the news media and Georgia’s Republican officials.

Trump has done more during his term in office to erode our system of constitutional government than any elected official in American history. Trump is an absolute disgrace and a traitor to America!

After Trump completely mismanaged the pandemic and is responsible for nearly 351,000 unnecessary American deaths; and after he fabricated baseless claims of voter fraud where there was none; and after he attempted, through over 60 failed lawsuits, to change the votes of millions who voted for Joe Biden; and after he illegally tried to induce Georgia state officials to commit voter fraud, we need some comedy vs. tragedy in our lives.

So, it’s going to be so much fun to watch Trump, the mentally deranged malignant narcissist, get physically dragged out of the White House, screaming and crying like a baby, on the afternoon of Jan. 20 after President Joe Biden is inaugurated. Defeated Trump asks Georgia officials to illegally 'find' 11,780 votes to tilt the election


Astonishing new evidence of a desperate Trump was caught on tape illegally trying to steal the election and exposing the depth of his corruption; and also makes his worthless Republican Capitol Hill allies complicit in his bid to thwart the will of the voters.

There are no votes to “find.” All the votes have been cast, counted, confirmed, recounted and legally reconfirmed. There are no votes cast for Biden that Trump can magically turn into votes for himself. Trump is a LOSER.

The Washington Post obtained a recording of Saturday’s conversation between Trump and Republican Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s Secretary of State, in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and then threatened him with vague criminal consequences if he refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”

Trump’s rambling and at times incoherent conversation offered a remarkable glimpse of how consumed and desperate he remains about being the biggest loser of the 21st century. The pressure put on Raffensperger is the latest example of Trump’s attempt to subvert the outcome of the Nov. 3 election through personal outreach to state Republican officials. During their conversation, Trump issued a vague threat to both Raffensperger and Ryan Germany, the secretary of state’s general counsel, suggesting that if they don’t find that thousands of ballots in Fulton County have been illegally destroyed to block investigators — an allegation for which there is no evidence — they would be subject to criminal liability.

Trump’s conversation with Raffensperger put him in legally questionable territory, legal experts said, but Trump doesn’t care. By exhorting the secretary of state to “find” votes and to deploy investigators who “want to find answers,” Trump was encouraging him to doctor the election outcome in Georgia. Numerous lawyers and legal scholars say Trump’s actions violated both state and federal criminal statutes — in particular federal statute 52 U.S. Code 20511 that makes it a crime to “knowingly and willfully” deprive or defraud a state’s residents of a free or fair election — or to attempt to do so. “Either the president was engaged in the commission of a felony,” said Justin Levitt, a law professor at Loyola Marymount University, “or he has lost his hold on reality such that he can no longer distinguish fact from the fictions he has been fed.” Michael R. Bromwich, a former Justice Department inspector general, said Trump’s “best defense would be insanity.”

Several of Trump’s worthless allies were on the line as he spoke, including White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and conservative lawyer Cleta Mitchell, a prominent GOP attorney whose involvement with Trump’s efforts had not been previously known.

Congressman Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, called Trump's actions “morally repugnant.”

New York Congressman Jerry Nadler said, “Trump remains profoundly unfit for office.” Absolutely!

Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois said, "To every member of Congress considering objecting to the election results, you cannot — in light of this — do so with a clean conscience.” Anyone objecting to the election results now is complicit in Trump’s illegal activities.

Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson said, “Trump should resign NOW!”

In considering a second impeachment of Trump, which could make him ineligible to run for public office again, former Republican congressman David Jolly said, "What stands on the line in this moment is not just Donald Trump. It is the integrity of the House of Representatives as an institution, whether or not they will allow this behavior to go checked or unchecked." The worthless and spineless Republicans in the House have already proven over time that they have no backbone when it comes to standing up to Trump, so we’d place our bet that they will once again do nothing and, by their silence, will let their cult leader get away with this impeachable offense.

John Harwood, CNN White House correspondent said that if you’re a Republican elected official and you don’t speak out against Trump’s behavior, you are tattooing on your forehead a sign that says, “Republican means corrupt if we have to be.”

Republicans’ scattershot, power-grab efforts to overturn President-elect Joe Biden's election victory are coalescing into an unconstitutional movement led by top Republicans like Ted Cruz of Texas, determined to exploit a manufactured crisis for broader political gains.

The cult’s primary effort to overturn the will of the voters is doomed to failure, but its secondary purpose, to harden the baseless conspiracy theory-fueled, right-wing base in Trump's demonic cult, may succeed in morphing the current Republican party into a corrosive political faction of brainwashed anarchists that could go on for years, with Trump as its resurrected leader. Trump’s stunt in the works now figures to have longer political and social coattails — it fits in with his wider, expanding Hitlerian attempt to further constrain Americans’ voting rights in the future.

Cancer has the best chance of being eliminated when it’s caught early. Therefore, it’s time for a new political party to replace the current Republican party which no longer represents the will of the people or stands by the precepts on which it was formed.

"For a group of my Republican colleagues to claim that they want an additional federal 'commission' to supersede state certifications when the votes have already been counted, recounted, litigated, and state-certified, amounts to nothing more than an attempt to subvert the will of the voters,” said Democratic Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

And don’t ever forget, Americans, that it was Republican Mitch McConnell who was to blame for preventing Congress from passing the $2,000 stimulus checks that we so desperately need.

Pro-Trump Lawyer Says He’s Not Insane — But America Knows Otherwise

People who aren’t insane don’t have a need to go around telling people they’re not insane! Those who are insane feel the need to attempt to convince others of their sanity, e.g. “I’m a stable genius.”

L. Lin Wood, an attorney who is a member of Trump’s legal team, tweeted that Mike Pence could be arrested and executed by firing squad for treason. Then Wood dismissed claims of his own "insanity," telling his “followers” that he is "fine." (Note: Even his use of the word “followers” implies a Trump-like cult. What attorney has “followers?”)

Wood wrote: "If Pence is arrested, Pompeo will save the election. Pence will be in jail awaiting trial for treason. He will face execution by firing squad. He is a coward and will sing like a bird and confess ALL."

Wood then proceeded to call for senior Republicans and a conservative-leaning judge to be arrested, saying, "When arrests for treason begin, put Chief Justice John Roberts, VP Mike Pence, and Mitch McConnell at the top of the list."

L. Lin Wood is obviously insane. He’s the kind of low-life with whom Trump associates.

Wood has previously filed several failed lawsuits attempting to overturn the election’s results in Trump’s favor. In November, he filed a baseless federal lawsuit in Georgia which sought to prevent the state from certifying its results. In December, Wood joined Sidney Powell in an unsuccessful legal bid to try and overturn Biden's win in Michigan. Earlier this week, Wood bizarrely claimed that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is a murderous pedophile.

Like Trump, Wood is both insane and a loser, and yet there are very stupid people, called “Trump supporters,” who look up to these losers as cult figures.

Trump, the nation’s #1 Loser, is ramping up his push for Republicans to hijack Congress' Electoral College confirmation duty and use it as a last stand to subvert the will of the American voters. Trump spent time attacking Sen. John Thune, a South Dakotan who is the No. 2 Senate Republican. Thune, the Senate majority whip, had been one of the top Republicans to speak in favor of accepting the Electoral College results and President-elect Joe Biden's victory, thereby drawing Trump's rage and anger. Ahead of the formal electoral college voting process last month, Thune said, “In the end at some point you have to face the music. And I think once the Electoral College settles the issue, it's time for everybody to move on.”

Yesterday, the pathological narcissist called the Republican-controlled Senate “pathetic” for failing to deliver on the $2,000 stimulus checks and other demands he wanted to pair with it after the Senate voted to override his veto of the $741 billion defense policy bill. With Trump, it’s always about blaming others for his own incompetence. Yesterday, Trump also promoted a planned protest in Washington scheduled for the day his defeat will be ceremonially rubber-stamped by Congress.

"It is far easier for the pathological narcissist to consider destroying oneself and the world, especially its 'laughing eyes,' than to retreat into becoming a 'loser' and a 'sucker' — which to someone suffering from this condition will feel like psychic death,” said Dr. Bandy X. Lee, a psychiatrist who has taught at Yale.

Luckily for America, this pathological narcissist will lose his presidential power on Jan. 20th.

A New Year with a New President!

America is glad to be out with the old and in with the new. Out with 2020 and in with 2021. Out with 26 worthless Republican representatives and 4 spineless Republican senators. Out with Trump, the nation’s biggest loser, and in with Joe Biden, a qualified president, on Jan. 20th.

For four years, the spectacle of Trump’s cheating ways has been a daily insult to the American public. We have solid allegations that Trump cheats or tries to cheat on tests, at golf, on his wives, on his taxes, on bank loans and, of course, in campaigns. Every time ordinary Americans take tests, pay the IRS and meet the terms of their contracts, they can be reminded that Trump does not. Trump believes that the rules don’t apply to him — that he’s above the law. Hopefully the law will come down hard on him once he leaves office.

In the interim, what can we expect from Trump in his 20 remaining days in office? We can expect 20 more days of chaos from the malignant narcissist. He will continue his baseless claims of voter fraud, even though there was none. He will hold another coronavirus-spreading rally in Georgia as he stumps for his cult-following hopefuls in the Georgia senate runoff. He will be the cause of a useless attempt to overturn the Electoral College count on Jan. 6, stemming from his wild and unsubstantiated conspiracy theories. And unfortunately the body count from the Covid-19 pandemic that Trump so grossly mismanaged will continue to grow.

In the remaining 20 days of Trump’s presidency, what should Congress do? The new Congress should immediately begin the second impeachment of Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of justice, which may be able to prevent Trump from running for office again in 2024. A House panel could make short work of the investigation, especially with Trump now pardoning his cronies who were specifically complicit in supporting him during Robert Mueller’s investigation. Trump’s pardons are clearly rewards for their loyalty. The abuse of presidential pardons is one of the few crimes considered to be grounds for impeachment. Mueller said he was unable to charge Trump as a sitting president — but he strongly hinted that Congress should look into his findings. Under the Constitution, one of the possible punishments for an impeached official is disqualification from ever holding office again. However, it’s highly unlikely that Congress has the backbone to initiate a second impeachment.

Nonetheless, hope is on the horizon in just 20 days with the inauguration of Joe Biden, a proven and qualified leader! Happy New Year, America!
