Trump, who basically ignored the pandemic during his term in office, went on a tirade against Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx, two of his former top medical advisers on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trump issued a lengthy statement in which he argued that he ignored both Fauci and Birx while in office as a benefit to the country and boasted that he was responsible for getting vaccines rapidly developed and approved.

Ignoring our nation’s top medical experts using the lame excuse that it was “a benefit to the country” is obvious proof that Trump is mentally ill. In his predictable pattern, he then turned to personal attacks and name-calling, referring to Dr. Fauci as the "king of 'flip-flops,'" and Dr. Birx as a “proven liar.”

Let’s never forget that over 500,000 Americans died of Covid-19 on Trump’s watch while he denied the seriousness of the pandemic and spent his time playing golf.

A new Pew poll shows that 53% show that Trump was either a “terrible” (41%) or “poor” (12%) president. Nine in 10 Democrats say Trump was a "terrible" (72%) or "poor" (17%) president — pathetic ratings! The Point: Trump has long made it clear that he is acutely interested in how he will be remembered. And he will not be happy with the early returns. Let’s try not to remember him at all!

Georgia Republicans: Jim Crowe in the 21st Century

If you’re among the Republican leadership in Georgia, you make it harder for people to vote, especially black people — you take the nation backwards by 100 years. That’s exactly what the incompetent Republican leadership did in Georgia this week — they passed restrictive changes to the state’s election process.

The new law erects new unnecessary hurdles, such as showing a driver’s license number if you want to cast an absentee ballot. Since when is having the ability to drive a prerequisite for being an American voter? Additionally, ballot drop boxes must be located inside early voting locations and will no longer be placed in other locations convenient to voters, like libraries or other local government buildings. It’s all about targeting specific voters, making it inconvenient or impossible for them to cast their ballots.

The problem is that this new legislation is primarily based on the absolute lie that there was massive voter fraud in the 2020 election. In Georgia, ballots were counted three times, including once by hand, and there was no evidence found of breaches in security or systemic voter fraud at polling places or in absentee ballots. But this is what you get in a “Jim Crowe” red state whose incompetent legislators continue to worship at the altar of Trump, their demonic cult leader.

President Joe Biden accurately labeled it “outrageous, un-American and Jim Crowe in the 21st Century.”

The Republicans are on notice: Citizens are not likely to vote for the party that passes mean-spirited, prejudiced, punitive and anti-democratic laws. The Georgia Republicans may have just handed the Democrats their best turnout tool for 2022 & beyond. We certainly hope so.

President Biden: Patient and Diplomatic vs. Reactive and Authoritarian

Unlike Trump, the incompetent autocrat without an agenda, President Biden uses patience and diplomacy as effective tools to work on his agenda to get things done.

It comes down to pragmatism. “It’s a matter of timing,” he said. “As you’ve all observed, successful presidents better than me have been successful in large part because they know how to time what they’re doing. Order it, decide and prioritize what needs to be done.”

And that’s exactly what President Biden is doing. In his first 100 days, he has focused on our nation’s most critical issue — the pandemic — and successfully exceeded his initial goal of getting 100 million people vaccinated in his first 100 days. He has been so successful that he modified that goal to be 200 million vaccinations by the end of March. Contrast this with Trump who either cast blame on everyone else or who put his head in the sand and played golf on the taxpayers’ dime instead of addressing the issue of the pandemic.

On the issues of gun control, immigration, or threats to voting rights, President Biden urged a bit of patience, saying that the coronavirus and the economic devastation were more urgent priorities and that the country’s political system can handle only so much at once. “We’re gonna move on these one at a time, try to do as many simultaneous as we can,” he said. “But that’s the reason why I focused as I have.”

The Republicans, who only blocked Democratic solutions for the past 12 years under both President Obama and Trump, the Twitter Toddler, now want all of the issues that they created to be solved by President Biden immediately, and are quick to cast blame. The Republicans, however, still have no solutions — only blame.

In his first news conference yesterday, President Biden still seemed to adopt that theory that the Republican Party would change its ways once Trump was defeated, holding up the need to seek bipartisanship and give Republicans a chance to become a willing partner. But at other moments, Biden questioned whether the Republican Party would even exist by 2024.

Finally, idiot reporters pressed President Biden on his plans to run for re-election in 2024 while he’s still in his first 100 days of his first term. These reporters need to grow a brain and to learn how to report the real news!

‘Pansy Boys’ Aligned With ‘Oath Breakers’ For Jan. 6 Insurrection

New evidence filed with the Justice Department shows that the cowardice Pansy Boys (aka Proud Boys) coordinated with the sissy Oath Breakers (aka Oath Keepers) in advance of Trump’s Jan. 6 insurrection. These are not patriots; these are pigs.

The Florida leader of the Oath Keepers said, “We have decided to work together and shut this shit down.” The only “shit” here are both of these extremist groups that are made up of nothing more than filthy, cowardice pigs.

U.S. Federal Judge Amit Mehta denied a request to release Kelly Meggs, the little piggy leader of the Oath Keepers, from jail, claiming that he traveled to Washington along with his wife and eight other accused co-conspirators "prepared to do violence" when rioters stormed the Capitol. The judge said that there was ample evidence to support that Meggs planned, led, financed and recruited others to join the Jan. 6 show of force, culminating in the deadly breach. Lock up the worthless pig and throw away the key!

There Is No Legitimate Reason For Ordinary Citizens To Own Military Assault Weapons.

There is no reason for ordinary citizens to own and drive military vehicles on our roadways, or to fly military attack jets in our skies, or to own and use military assault weapons with high capacity magazines designed for the sole purpose of killing other human beings. It is time to ban the sale, ownership, and use of assault weapons from citizens who are not members of our nation’s active military during declared wars.

Faced with the second mass shooting in a week, President Biden and Democrats on Capitol Hill called on Tuesday for fast action to enact stricter gun laws, a plea that was immediately met with a blockade of opposition by ignorant Republican legislators. Asshole Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Democrats for "ridiculous theater" with gun law proposals. Not surprisingly, in 2018 Cruz was the top recipient of National Rifle Association donations, having received $309,021 in donations. The top 10 recipients were all Republicans.

“This is not and should not be a partisan issue — it is an American issue,” President Biden said. “We have to act.” But Republicans in Congress who have no business calling themselves representatives of the people remained all but immovable on the issue. These Republicans are poster children for term limits. Maybe if their own families were personally affected by these mass shootings, they’d finally wake up and grow a brain.

If fallout from the nation’s two most recent mass shootings runs to form, calls for stricter gun laws on the left will meet resistance from the right. Predictably, Washington will gridlock and the media will very sadly move on. Any bets?

Trump May Be Forming His Own Losing Social Network

Trump, the ousted mentally ill malignant narcissist, is contemplating forming his own social network after being permanently ousted from Twitter and Facebook. Trump has been approached by numerous companies and is in talks with teams about a new bully pulpit from which to spread his lies. His attempt is doomed to crash like the Hindenburg, and will only fizzle out with more losses and lawsuits. A social media site based primarily on an allegiance to a demonic cult represented by a serial liar like Trump and his political positions would soon become pretty boring for even the most dedicated Trump “dead-ender.”

So now we can add failed social media entrepreneur to Trump’s long list of his other failures: airline owner, football team operator, steak entrepreneur, magazine publisher, university proprietor, casino owner, mortgage lender, vodka merchant and president of the United States.

The greatest limitation to a Trump-led social media entity is Trump’s narcissistic personality. ‘Pansy Boys’ Leaders Facing New Conspiracy Charges

Four Proud Boys (aka Pansy Boys) regional leaders (i.e. regional cowards) are now charged with a plot to disrupt Congress’ certification of the 2020 election by orchestrating a strategy to overwhelm Capitol Police officers and target weakly guarded entrances to the building. The case could expand beyond the four current defendants.

These are the most significant charges leveled in the 10 weeks since a mob of Trump supporters, seeded with cells of organized extremist groups, stormed the Capitol.

Yet another of Trump’s illegal phone calls was discovered that added to the examples of the pig’s extraordinary efforts to push false claims of widespread voter fraud and influence Georgia election officials as they certified the state's election results.

The audio file of the December 23rd call between Trump and investigator Frances Watson was discovered as the Georgia Secretary of State's Office responded to a public records request.

On the call, Trump urged Georgia’s top investigator, Frances Watson, to find fraud in the 2020 presidential election, telling her that she would be "praised" for overturning results in favor of President Joe Biden.

Since Joe Biden became president, Trump is spending his time wandering about seeking new ways to inflict vengeance and revenge against the 10 Republican legislators who voted to oust him, but thankfully he no longer occupies the powerful office of president.

Fox News reported that the Alabama Republican Party will honor Trump for being "one of the greatest and most effective presidents in the 245-year history of this Republic. At a Saturday evening reception held at Mar-a-Lago, the party will present Trump with a framed resolution that grants him the honor.

Members of the state's GOP unanimously voted on the resolution, which claims that "President Trump put the American people and the American worker first in all of his decisions." These people are either high on mind altering drugs or they’re just plain stupid — take your pick. This is undeniable proof of the stupidity of the Republicans in Alabama!

Not surprisingly, the Alabama Republican Party did not immediately respond to The Hill's request for comment.

Trump was the third president to be impeached, and the only one to be impeached twice. He was a serial violator of his oath, as evidenced by his continual use of his office for personal financial gain. He failed to put the national security interests of the United States ahead of his own political needs — he continuously put his personal political prospects ahead of any sense of duty to the nation. He used tax policy to vindictively punish states that didn’t vote for him, all while never releasing his own tax returns. He diverted public funds to properties owned by him and his family. He illegally squeezed the Ukrainians to get dirt on his likely opponent in 2020, the cause of his first impeachment. He was grossly derelict in the face of the pandemic, which has already killed over half a million Americans, ignoring his own health experts and advisers, and searching constantly for some silver bullet that would relieve him of the necessity of making hard choices. He illegally pushed Vice President Mike Pence to use his formal constitutional role as the play-by-play announcer of the electoral vote count to unconstitutionally obstruct it. Then he refused to concede defeat and instead used his presidential bully pulpit to instigate an insurrection, stirring a mob that stormed the Capitol, resulting in the deaths of five people and injuries to countless others.

Vance’s probe has expanded into a broad examination of the possibility that Trump and his company engaged in tax, banking, and insurance fraud. Investigators are questioning whether Trump profited illegally by deliberately misleading authorities about the value of his real-estate assets. Michael Cohen, once Trump’s most loyal associate, has alleged that Trump inflated property valuations in order to get favorable bank loans and insurance policies, while simultaneously lowballing the value of the same assets in order to reduce his tax burden. Trump paid only seven hundred and fifty dollars in federal income taxes during his first year as President, and he paid no federal income taxes at all during ten of the preceding fifteen years; and between 2010 and 2018 he reported twenty-six million dollars in “consulting fees” as business expenses, of which $747,622 went to Ivanka Trump for projects she was already working on as a salaried employee of the Trump Organization.

President Biden has a plan, while Trump lived in denial

A year ago, Trump, the most incompetent president in American history, declared from the Oval Office that a “low risk” coronavirus pandemic would amount to nothing more than “a temporary moment in time.” The initial spread of the virus last year was only met with “silence” and “denials” by Trump. That was an early indication of what became a catastrophically misguided pattern of denying the reality of what faced the United States. Because of Trump’s non-action, well over half a million Americans have already died of Covid-19.

This week, only halfway through President Biden’s first 100 days, the new administration has celebrated not just the passage of the stimulus plan, but also a plan to make the vaccine available at more pharmacies, double the number of mass vaccination sites and certify more people — including dentists, paramedics, veterinarians and physician assistants — to deliver shots into arms.

Is President Biden’s plan perfect? Absolutely not, but he is facing the problem head-on and being honest with the American people instead of following in the footsteps of Trump’s denial and that of Trump’s worthless, cult-following co-conspirators in Congress.

We applaud President Biden for taking the lead in moving America forward in spite of the meaningless opposition from the do-nothing Republicans in Congress.

Ted Cruz accuses Democrats of manipulating and stealing elections

Republican Senator Ted Cruz, who is looking more and more like a werewolf these days, is accusing Democrats of attempting to "manipulate and steal" elections — this coming from the Republican party, the party that boldly supported Trump, its demonic cult leader, in months of lying in an attempt to prevent voters from voting!

This month Democrats pushed through the 791-page voting rights bill in a 220-210 vote. Democrats describe the expansive proposals as anti-corruption legislation that would ramp up voting rights by improving voter access and limiting gerrymandering. Republicans, on the other hand, have strongly opposed the bill, calling it a Democratic power grab.

For the last eight years Republicans have done nothing in Congress except use their majority position to block every move Democrats tried to make. Now that the tide has turned, the Republicans have turned into crying, whiny babies. Too bad, Ted. The American voters have spoken and the Republican party no longer represents the will of the people. Get used to it.

In a newly reported audio of the call obtained by The Wall Street Journal, it showed that in a phone call to the Georgia secretary of state's office in December, Trump urged a top investigator to find fraud in the 2020 presidential election, telling her that she would be "praised" for overturning results that were in favor of Joe Biden. The report is the latest example of Trump's extraordinarily evil efforts to influence Georgia election officials as they certified the results, even though there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the election. President Biden Triumphs with Covid-19 Relief Bill

The Associated Press reported that Congress is poised to approve a landmark $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill, placing President Joe Biden on the cusp of an early triumph that advances Democratic priorities and showcases the unity his party will need to forge future victories. Ignorant and selfish House and Senate Republicans have unanimously opposed the much needed package, while polls show robust support for Biden's approach.

A dominant feature of the bill is initiatives making it one of the biggest federal thrusts in years to finally assist lower- and middle-income families.

We wholeheartedly congratulate President Biden and all the legislators with the backbone to support this much needed and long overdue federal assistance.

In the meantime, Trump, the twice-impeached malignant narcissist, is tightening his grip on the Republican Party by threatening to starve the GOP of funding. He said that the “only” way to give to Trump-aligned candidates was through Save America, his leadership political action committee, circumventing the party campaign arms devoted to electing Republicans. In other words, pad Trump’s personal war chest at the expense of other Republican candidates so that he maintains total control. Trump has been driven by vindictiveness and anger over what he sees as the party’s defense of Republican incumbents who backed his impeachment. Only incredibly stupid people would donate to Trump.

The New York Daily News reported that Tucker Carlson defended QAnon supporters saying that they are “gentle people” who are “waving American flags.”

Many participants of the mob who took part in Trump’s Jan. 6th insurrection have been linked to the QAnon fringe group, which has been designated as a “domestic terror threat” by the FBI.

In reference to the QAnon cult members, Carlson said, “They like this country. They’re not torching Wendy’s, they’re not looting retail stores, they’re not shooting cops. No, that’s not them.”

Carlson’s words came a day after police in the Washington, D.C., area were put on high alert over reports that far-right groups could potentially storm into the Capitol again.

Tucker Carlson can try, like Trump does, to re-write history by lying, but we’d like to remind him that at least five people died as a result of the Jan. 6th insurrection, and many of the perpetrators, who have been identified by the FBI as QAnon cultists, are now sitting in jail, awaiting their day in court.

Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman — From Icon to Threat?

Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman, who became a national sensation when she delivered a stirring poem at President Biden’s inauguration in January, said on Friday that a security guard had followed her home and told her she looked suspicious.

Gorman said, “This is the reality of black girls: One day you’re called an icon, the next day, a threat.” She continued, saying, “In a sense, he was right. I AM A THREAT: a threat to injustice, to inequality, to ignorance. Anyone who speaks the truth and walks with hope is an obvious and fatal danger to the powers that be.”

The Washington Post is reporting that Republican lawmakers in dozens of states are moving to restrict polling access after Trump’s November loss in a move that is trying to regress America back to the Jim Crowe era. State lawmakers are barreling ahead with major rollbacks of early voting, mail voting and other state provisions that Trump and other Republicans oppose — in other words, the Republicans want to take away voting rights that took a century or more to achieve. Republican-controlled state legislatures around the country have been proposing laws that would restrict absentee balloting, early voting and other aspects of election administration that critics say represent a cynical ploy to make it harder primarily for Democratic voters to participate. This effort follows on the heels of Trump’s baseless effort to undermine the 2020 election as being rigged.

In reference to these Republicans, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said as lawmakers debated amendments to the bill Tuesday, “They know that their issues are losers with the American people. They know that big money and voter suppression is their path to victory, and that’s why they’re engaged in this.”

A vote for a Republican is a vote to take away our hard-earned voting rights.

These are not the actions of a leader — they are the actions of a pathetic LOSER.
