Buzz Patterson, an asshole Republican congressional candidate in California and Trump cult follower, posted an entirely false claim about President Joe Biden that went viral among conservatives on Twitter, claiming that no one from the Biden White House attended the return of the remains of our American heroes killed in Afghanistan.

Another ignorant Trump cult follower, Ryan Fournier, the Students for Trump co-founder who has more than 940,000 followers, tweeted a near-identical false and fabricated claim.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham amplified a similar tweet; she added, "The Biden administration doesn't care about our troops."

Every one of those claims were false. President Biden's plans to attend the dignified transfer were set well before the Republicans’ lies. In fact, television networks already had plans in place to cover Biden's travel to Dover.

These are the kinds of “fake news” and lies that Trump tried to teach the world were acceptable through four years of his personal example, and his many mentally deficient cult followers are gullible and stupid enough to believe them.

History can’t be changed simply because such drivel comes out of the mouths of assholes!

Covid-19 is a pandemic of the unvaccinated

Two new studies from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show fully vaccinated Americans’ immunity to Covid-19 is waning as the more-transmissible Delta variant continues to spread across the country.

In one study of 43,000 residents age 16 and older in California found that only 25% of new infections from May to July were in fully vaccinated individuals, while 71% occurred in unvaccinated people. The study also showed that the hospitalization rate was significantly lower for fully vaccinated people than for unvaccinated people.

Another study in New York showed that vaccine effectiveness among adults declined from 91.7 percent in early May to 79.8 percent by late July.

Both recent sets of CDC studies show that breakthrough infections in vaccinated people are still rare. But they also add to growing evidence that protection from Covid-19 shots lessens over time, which agency officials say supports their recommendation that Americans receive booster shots eight months after their initial vaccination.

The CDC has for months monitored breakthrough infections and vaccine efficacy in different populations across the U.S.

Leana Wen, an emergency physician and public health professor at George Washington University, said, "It highlights why it matters to the vaccinated if others around them are unvaccinated — the infections among the unvaccinated are spilling over and increasing the likelihood of breakthrough infections among the vaccinated."

In speeches, President Biden has repeatedly emphasized that Covid-19 is a "pandemic of the unvaccinated," going as far in late July to assert that "over 99 percent of Covid-19 deaths had been among the unvaccinated." It’s the unvaccinated who are now the ones filling the intensive care units, stressing our hospitals to the point of overflowing, and causing unnecessary stress on hospital staff — and it’s 100% preventable if only these stupid people would get vaccinated. The unvaccinated are preventing the pandemic from ending.

Donald Trump is “a coward and he'll never engage in a fair fight,” said Mary Trump, psychologist and Trump’s niece, in an interview with Business Insider. “He'll only engage if he's convinced that through cheating, lying, and stealing that he can win.”

Mary Trump said that all signs now point to her uncle running for office again. “He's still spreading his 'Big Lie,’” she said. “He's also now spreading the second big lie,” she continued. “This is that the insurrection of January 6 wasn't a big deal.”

The “most troubling” sign that her uncle intends to run for president, Mary Trump continued, is that there are “hundreds of voter suppression bills” winding their way through state legislatures.

According to the Brennan Center for Justice, as of June 21, 2021, 17 states have enacted 28 new laws that restrict access to the vote. At least 61 bills with restrictive voting provisions are now moving through 18 state legislatures, the public policy institute's research said.

“If the Republicans in any given state can make it harder or impossible for certain kinds of people to vote, like people of color or college students, then Donald might realize that if he ran again, he couldn't lose because the system would have been rigged to favor him,” Mary Trump said.

“Remember, he's 75, not in good health, and there are the criminal investigations into him,” Mary Trump said. “Hopefully, something will interfere with his ability to run but, if all things are equal, he will.”

Sturgis was a COVID Super-Spreading Event

In western South Dakota’s Meade County, the location of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally from August 6th through 15th, more than one in three COVID-19 tests are currently returning positive, and over the last three weeks, seven-day average case counts have increased by 3,400 percent! The South Dakota Department of Transportation reported that 525,768 vehicles entered Sturgis over the 10 days of the rally.

South Dakota has witnessed a 686.8 percent increase in daily case counts over the past three weeks, currently more than 10 times the nationwide rate, due to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The rally represented the perfect storm for a superspreader event across the region: a large gathering with no testing, no masks, and no vaccination requirements.

South Dakota’s Republican governor, Kristi Noem, outright lied when she said the rally is safe. Health experts disagreed and warned everyone before the event. Once again, the health experts were correct and proved the ignorance of Republican politicians with self-serving interests. Many of those unvaccinated bikers who contracted Covid-19 at the rally will now unnecessarily die of it.

As elsewhere in the U.S., vaccine hesitancy is higher among Republicans than Democrats in South Dakota, where nearly two-thirds of voters went for Trump, America’s #1 Idiot, in 2020.

901 Covid Deaths in Florida in One Day!

Yesterday the Miami Herald reported that Florida had 21,765 more COVID-19 cases and 901 deaths! This is the largest single-day increase to the death total in the state’s COVID pandemic history.

There were 16,833 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in Florida on Thursday.

All of this is occurring while Ron DeSantis, the idiot governor of Florida with the mentality of a toddler, refuses to mandate the wearing of masks in the state.

More Floridians favor the Biden White House's position — that schools should be able to require masks — than the DeSantis position, according to a Quinnipiac University poll that found 54% of Floridians backed mask mandates in schools. The poll also found that 69% of Floridians believe DeSantis' position of withholding salaries from the leaders of schools with mask mandates was a bad idea.

“Ultimately, history's going to look back at what's happening in different states. We are going to see and say who used the moment for the short term and who used the moment with the big, much greater goal of keeping people safe,” said Cameron Webb, White House senior policy adviser for Covid-19 equity.

A detention center in Washington County, Arkansas, has been using the anti-parasite drug ivermectin to treat inmates who have COVID-19, local officials say, even though the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has specifically warned against it. The FDA says the drug, which is frequently used as a dewormer in animals, is not an approved or recommended treatment for COVID-19, and "can be ‘highly toxic’ to humans and cause serious harm."

Tim Helder, the red state county sheriff with no common sense whatsoever, defended it, saying that Ivermectin has been regularly prescribed at the jail during the pandemic. “Whatever a doctor prescribes, that’s out of my bailiwick,” Helder told the Northern Arkansas Press Democrat-Gazette.

Ignorant Fox News hosts recommend dangerous horse drug for Covid!

For all you right-wingers who worship conservative media idiots like Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham, listen up! Ivermectin, a drug to treat parasites in horses, is not a drug that could possibly be used to treat Covid-19, as these misinformed media hosts with anti-Biden agendas have recommended.

Their recommendations are part of a recent theme in right-wing media of attacking public health officials for promoting the highly effective coronavirus vaccines as the best path out of the pandemic instead of potential therapeutics to treat the virus. Throughout the pandemic, Fox News, talk-radio, and right-wing websites have promoted unproven therapeutics to treat Covid-19 while simultaneously casting doubt on the effectiveness of vaccines and masks.

The FDA has warned for months that ivermectin can be unsafe and has said that it has "received multiple reports of patients who have required medical support and been hospitalized after self-medicating with ivermectin intended for horses."

Very predictably, a Fox News spokesperson didn't respond to a request for comment on Monday when asked about the network's hosts promoting ivermectin.

Live Science has reported that since the 1980s, Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica, also known as the “Doomsday Glacier,” has lost an estimated 595 billion tons (540 billion metric tons) of ice, single-handedly contributing 4% to the annual global sea-level rise during that time.

In a study published Aug. 18 in the journal Communications Earth & Environment, researchers analyzed geomagnetic field data from West Antarctica to create new maps of geothermal heat flow in the region — essentially, maps showing how much heat from Earth's interior is rising up to warm the South Pole.

The researchers found that the crust beneath West Antarctica is considerably thinner than in East Antarctica — roughly 10 to 15 miles (17 to 25 kilometers) thick in the West compared with about 25 miles (40 km) thick in the East — exposing Thwaites Glacier to considerably more geothermal heat than glaciers on the other side of the continent. Researchers quantified that difference in heat flow for the first time, using a variety of magnetic field datasets.

If Thwaites Glacier were to entirely collapse into the ocean, global sea levels would rise by about 25 inches (65 centimeters), devastating coastline communities around the world. What's more, without the glacier plugging the edge of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet like a cork in a bottle of wine, ice loss could accelerate dramatically in the entire region, leading to unprecedented levels of sea level rise.

Comirnaty (Koe-mir'-na-tee), the official brand name for Pfizer and BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine, has received the FDA’s full approval for people 16 and older.

With the Delta variant of Covid-19 now spreading as fast as it is, and Prizer’s proven and free vaccine receiving full FDA approval, there’s no legitimate excuse why 100% of the American population isn’t getting vaccinated. Predictably, Trump has now attempted to absolve himself from the situation and pinned responsibility solely on President Joe Biden for the Taliban's takeover and the Afghan government's collapse.

Trump “ended up getting rolled almost as bad as Neville Chamberlain," Rep. Adam Kinzinger said, referring to the British prime minister who negotiated the 1938 Munich Agreement, which was widely panned as enabling the Nazi invasion of Poland.

Yesterday Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming also blasted Trump's deal, calling it a "surrender" to the Taliban. "We sat down and negotiated with terrorists," Cheney told NBC News. "We gave credibility to the Taliban ... We completely undercut the Afghan national government. We absolutely emboldened the Taliban."

Asshole Trump held another superspreader rally!

Twice-impeached Trump held another superspreader rally on Saturday at York Family Farms in Cullman, Alabama, a state which has experienced a 218% increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations in the last two weeks. There are currently no available ICU beds across the state of Alabama.

A state of local emergency was declared on Thursday in Cullman, Alabama, as hospital and emergency room overcrowding, bed and labor shortages, as well as an ambulance crisis strained its health care system. But that didn’t stop Trump, America’s #1 Asshole, from holding one of his "Save America" rallies that drew thousands of maskless attendees to the city.

Trump spoke to a crowd of thousands at York Family Farms about his usual worn-out stump topics like Russia, immigration, the "radical left," and COVID-19, which he continues to call the "China virus." In short, Trump has nothing to say.

How successful was 20 years of fighting in Afghanistan?

In three words: Not Very Successful.

A militant group with oppressive, medieval beliefs on how to treat human beings cannot be tamed by putting a leash on them by an armed military force. To think otherwise is naive. Hatred, fear, violence and oppression are embedded in the Taliban’s psyche. Twenty years of pouring trillions of American taxpayer dollars into a fruitless civil and religious war in a foreign country is enough.

President Biden may have inherited this war from his predecessors, but he certainly made the brave and correct move in moving Americans out of harm’s way from another country’s civil and religious war — a war where the country’s own military force laid down its arms instead of fighting for its own freedom.

The lying Taliban pigs want the world to think they’ve changed. They haven’t. They have already proven they’re a group of uncivilized and armed insurgents who oppress the people with their undeserved authority, misinterpretation of Islamic law, and medieval customs straight out of the bygone era of the 13th century crusades. It is unfortunate that the common people of Afghanistan are forced to live under the Taliban’s rule, but this is not America’s fight.

Congratulations to President Biden for making a bold and long overdue move before we’re faced with 20 more years of putting Americans in harm’s way. Those legislators who criticize the president’s decision and are willing to send your children and mine into harm’s way in another country’s civil war should be forced to send their own children to fight in Afghanistan first. If that were the case, this war would have been over years ago.

Republicans are quick to criticize President Biden over his decision to pull our troops out of Afghanistan after a senseless 20-year war, but they’d be far less critical if the US had a policy that forced legislators’ sons and daughters to be the first to be sent into harm’s way before any other American citizens. Apparently it’s OK for my son or daughter to be a pawn in a war with a country whose so-called “fighters” have now proven they’re not willing to fight for their own country. And leaders of other countries who are only “armchair quarterbacks” and who have no skin in the game are quick to criticize. These critics can kiss my ass and take a hike. Let them start by sending their children to fight in Afghanistan. President Biden did what’s right for America, and Americans are the only ones to whom he’s answerable.

The United States is neither the world’s peacekeeper nor warrior. The stated goals of the war in Afghanistan were achieved many years ago, but none of the past presidents had the guts to act. We were long overdue to get completely out.

The corrupt government of Afghanistan has been siphoning American taxpayer dollars and lining their own pockets for years. There is no winning this war, and it’s time the Afghans stand up for Afghanistan.

President Biden’s decision is a sound realignment of the national interest, it puts our country on better footing to deal with the new challenges of the 21st century, and it clarifies to allies and adversaries what the United States is and is not willing to expend resources on.

Newsweek has reported that a petition to recall and remove Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has reached its target of 35,000 signatures, with coronavirus cases continuing to climb in the Sunshine State.

The people want DeSantis out.

In addition to DeSantis’ stance toward COVID-19, the petition says DeSantis is making it difficult for eligible people to file for unemployment benefits.

DeSantis cares more about showing low unemployment numbers than if Floridians have enough to eat, the petition reads. It continues, saying that DeSantis also went directly against CDC guidelines and allowed churches to still have large gatherings. He is not fit to be our governor and needs to be removed as quickly as the constitution allows.

The state of Florida is experiencing the highest rate of children hospitalized with Covid-19 across the country; yet DeSantis has stood by his executive order that prohibits localities from imposing mask mandates in places including schools.

Let’s call him what he is: a vindictive and incompetent asshole.

Four more teachers die of Covid-19 in Florida

In July, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order banning mask mandates for Florida public schools, despite rising cases among children in the state. Earlier this week, more than 800 Florida physicians signed an open letter to DeSantis urging him to revise his policy.

Business Insider has reported that four teachers from Broward County, Florida died from COVID-19 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anna Fusco, the teachers union president, said, “It really hits because we've been in this conversation about masking up in schools; our own elected governor acting like masks are not necessary."

Earlier this week, the Broward County Public Schools board defied Governor Ron DeSantis' ban on mask mandates. They voted 8-1 to require staff and students to wear face coverings amid a record-breaking spike in the states' coronavirus cases. Vindictive DeSantis has threatened to withhold the pay of school superintendents who defy his order banning mask mandates.

Marion County Public Schools in Marion County, Florida, which is four hours north of Broward, reported that four members of its teaching staff had also died from COVID over the summer.

“Only a ‘moron’ or ’schmuck’ would make taking protective measures against coronavirus political,” said former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the ass-sniffing Trump cult follower, is now vindictively threatening to withhold the salaries of Florida school superintendents who require masks for students, thereby defying his latest ridiculous and uneducated executive order barring school districts from requiring students to wear masks amid an exponential surge in Covid-19 in his state.

Florida reported its highest number of daily Covid-19 cases to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Friday: 23,903 cases.

Fighting a raging, evolving virus with DeSantis’ cynicism- and ignorance-laced politics rather than with the wisdom of scientific medical data leads to the same result — a prolonged national nightmare.

The Delta variant of Covid-19 is challenging the long-held belief that children don’t get hit hard by the coronavirus. The American Association of Pediatrics reported last week that the US had an 84% increase in new Covid-19 cases among children from July 22 to 29, and Dr. Aileen Marty — an infectious disease expert at Florida International University — told CNN last week that children’s hospitals in the Sunshine State are “completely overwhelmed.”

The CDC has recommended that all students in kindergarten through 12th grade wear face coverings when they return to classrooms regardless of vaccination status, citing the spread of the Delta variant. Children younger than 12 are not yet eligible for the vaccines.

DeSantis is not only ignorant, but he’s also vindictive. He needs to be run out of office by the citizens of Florida.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to officials on the Broward County School Board who voted 8-1 Tuesday to keep its mask mandate in schools, defying and speaking out against Gov. Ron DeSantis in spite of his threatening to withhold the pay of school board members who impose mandates against his order.

Trump cultists are nothing but brainless “followers.” The proof is in the pudding. Now South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster is threatening to withhold funding to schools in his state's capital of Columbia over masking rules, and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has vowed to enforce a similar order against mask mandates — despite large school districts around the state, including Dallas and Austin, promising to go ahead with classroom face covering requirements. These legislators are so stupid that they can only make a political issue out of one that is clearly a global health issue.

Meanwhile, hospital staff in Florida are growing weary and they say their patients are coming in younger and sicker than at any previous time during the pandemic. At least two hospitals in Houston have been so overwhelmed with coronavirus patients this week that officials erected overflow tents outside. In Austin, hospitals were nearly out of beds in their intensive care units. In San Antonio, a spike in virus cases reached alarming levels not seen in months, with children as young as two months old tethered to supplemental oxygen. More than 10,000 Texans have been hospitalized this week and at least 53 hospitals were at maximum capacity in their intensive care units. Republican legislators are repeatedly proving that they have no credibility and cannot be trusted to act in the best interests of the people who voted them into office. It’s time to run these Trump cult followers out of office and to replace them with real legislators who represent the people instead of their own self-serving interests.

President Biden sent 300 ventilators to Florida on Monday from the federal government, while DeSantis is so out of touch that he said he was unaware of any such request! Kick DeSantis out!

CNN has reported that the audacity of Trump’s attempts to subvert the law by weaponizing the Justice Department not only underscores how close the United States came to a full blown constitutional crisis this year, but it also emphasizes that any attempt by Trump to use a war chest already worth $100 million to try to recapture the White House in 2024 would represent a mortal threat to democracy and the rule of law from a leader who was undeterred even by his own first impeachment.

New revelations emerging from Senate testimony, about a Trump Justice Department loyalist's alleged behind-the-scenes efforts to call into question elections in states Trump lost, also render the continued GOP whitewashing of history about Trump's crimes against the Constitution even more blatant and dangerous.

Trump was unable to flout the will of voters in 2020. Some election experts fear that he — or another like-minded Republican strongman — could succeed in the future.

This past Friday, Florida experienced a record-high number COVID-19 hospitalizations for the sixth day in a row. Yesterday, 13,747 people were hospitalized across the state due to COVID, with 2,750 patients in intensive care; and yet idiot DeSantis said he believed that wearing masks would send the message that vaccines are ineffective, thereby hurting efforts to convince people to get vaccinated. The governor already had the power to overrule local mandates, and recently he banned school districts from requiring that students wear masks, threatening their funding.

This is the kind of reckless, vindictive and incompetent asshole, elected by uninformed and misguided people, that “leads” Florida.

Trump increased the national debt by 33%

Newsweek reported that the twice-impeached malignant narcissist increased the national debt by 33%, or by $6.7 trillion, to $26.9 trillion, during his four years in office. Republican lawmakers, who controlled the Senate for all four of those years, had largely and conveniently disregarded this position under Trump.

This is fiscal irresponsibility.

700,000 Descend Upon Sturgis

Approximately 700,000 motorcyclists with little concern over Covid-19 and the Delta variant are expected to descend upon Sturgis, SD starting this weekend for a 10-day super-spreader event that will surely become known as the Sturgis Coronavirus Rally.

No masks. No social distancing. 700,000 in a town of 7,000 with Covid-19 and the Delta variant in particular spreading like wildfire throughout our nation.

Last year the CDC reported that at least 463 “primary” cases of the coronavirus connected to attendees were reported within two weeks of the rally, and that number doesn’t count those who became infected as a result of contact with those 463 people. This year the expected number of attendees is expected to nearly double, and this year the far more contagious and deadly Delta variant is the primary strain of the virus in America.

Let’s call it what it really is: Irresponsible. Another definition: Russian Roulette. Probably the most fitting definition of all: Thinning the herd!

President Biden Wins where Trump Repeatedly Failed

President Biden is on the verge of winning his first major bipartisan victory by getting Senate Republicans to vote for the $1 trillion infrastructure bill, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Twice-impeached Trump predictably whined and railed against the agreement, arguing it gives Democrats “a big and beautiful win,” which it does — where Trump repeatedly failed!

As though anyone cares, Trump is enraged at the steady progress Republicans have made without him on infrastructure, which he was never able to pull off despite numerous empty promises to do so — proving he only got in the way and wasn’t needed in the first place.

President Biden has an unyielding belief in bipartisanship and repeatedly sought compromise with Republicans. Trump, on the other hand, is an ineffective autocrat and an absolute failure who doesn’t believe in the concept of compromise — Trump is a pathetic LOSER.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, the QAnon Bitch, spewed forth more hate-filled drivel, telling the Alabama Federation of Republican Women on Tuesday that southerners might shoot door-to-door vaccination volunteers associated with the Biden Administration.

Greene fabricated more lies saying, “Joe Biden wants to come talk to you guys. He's gonna be sending one of his police state friends to your front door.” Greene then said that a vaccination volunteer might want to take down a person's name, address, family members' names, phone numbers and “probably ask for your social security number, whether you take the vaccine or not.”

"Yeah, well, what they don't know is in the south we all love our Second Amendment rights," she continued. "We're not real big on strangers showing up on our front door, are we? They might not like the welcome they get."

Follow the following advice of the medical authorities, and not the worthless and self-serving drivel of uneducated legislators. Medical authorities recommend that no matter where you live — get vaccinated ASAP. If you live in an area with low vaccination rates, wear an N95 face mask, don't travel, practice social distancing, avoid large crowds, don't go indoors with people you're not sheltering with (especially in bars), and practice good hand hygiene.

8/5/21 UPDATE from the Miami Herald: Florida reported 50,997 COVID-19 cases and 100 deaths over the last three days. This past Saturday, Florida reported a record-breaking 21,683 new COVID-19 cases for Friday, July 30, the highest single-day number of cases since the pandemic began. Cumulatively, Florida has recorded at least 2,641,696 confirmed COVID cases statewide and 39,179 deaths as of Tuesday, according to the CDC. There are now 11,863 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in Florida, breaking the state’s hospitalization record for the second day in a row, according to data from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

“Last year, in 2020 it took us 60 days to go from 2,000 cases to 10,000. It has taken us 27 days to break our 2020 peak so it has been a dramatic increase,” said Florida Hospital Association President Mary Mayhew.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reiterated during a news conference this past Tuesday at the Shark Valley Visitor Center in Miami-Dade County that there would be no shutdowns.

8/4/21: According to the CDC, Florida reported 21,683 new infections with 11,515 people hospitalized from COVID-19 complications, the most COVID-19 cases in the state in a single day since the start of the pandemic, making the Sunshine State the nation's new virus epicenter. Yet Ron DeSantis, the idiot governor of Florida, said, “We're not shutting down. These interventions have failed time and time again throughout this pandemic, not just in the United States but abroad. They have not stopped the spread. And particularly with Delta, which is even more transmissible, if it didn't stop it before, it definitely ain't going to stop it now.”

Over the past month, several major hospitals in Florida have postponed elective surgeries to accommodate growing COVID-related hospitalizations, with more than 90% of the COVID patients being unvaccinated. But DeSantis said, “Our hospitals are open for business.” Florida also leads the country with the highest per capita rate of children hospitalized with COVID-19.

Last week DeSantis signed an order saying parents will be able to choose whether or not their children wear masks in schools, despite updated guidance last week from the CDC which said everyone inside K-12 schools should be required to wear a mask.

DeSantis is the poster child for being an idiot.

President Biden, speaking to the governors of both Florida and Texas, said, “I say to these governors: please help, but if you aren't going to help at least get out of the way. The people are trying to do the right thing. Use your power to save lives."

Governors DeSantis in Florida and Abbott in Texas are the epitome of both stupidity and ignorance, and are out of touch with common sense and reality. People should be listening to the advice and guidance of the health experts, and not these idiots.

Federal Judge Sanctions Trump’s Lawyers

A federal judge in Colorado sanctioned two of Trump’s lawyers who challenged the 2020 election results, calling their claims “fantastical” and “the stuff of which violent insurrections are made.”

Trump’s lawyers had asked for $160 billion in damages because Joe Biden won the presidential election. Though the lawsuit was filed in Colorado, it named as defendants the governors and secretaries of state for swing states which Trump lost to President Biden.

The judge’s ruling criticized Trump’s attorneys in scathing terms for purporting to “represent 160 million American registered voters,” seeking to nullify “actions of multiple state legislatures, municipalities, and state courts,” and then demand a “nominal amount of $1,000 per registered voter” in damages, which would amount to “a figure that is greater than the annual GDP of Hungary.”

US Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neureiter concluded that the lawsuit "was filed in bad faith" and ordered the attorneys, Ernest J. Walker and Gary D. Fielder, to pay the opposing lawyers' expenses and fees.

These are the kind of bottom-feeders that Trump hires to represent him. Apples don’t fall far from the tree.

Another Trump Flunkie Spreads Lies and Fascism

CNN has reported that amid recent surging coronavirus cases in Florida, a top Republican National Committee official in the state has spread anti-vaccine rhetoric and misinformation, comparing the Biden administration's vaccine efforts to Nazi-era "brown shirts," and twice calling the vaccines "the mark of the beast," comparable to a "false god."

This Trump cultist and flunkie, Peter Feaman, a lawyer and RNC committeeman from Florida made the comments on his blog. "The Biden brown shirts are beginning to show up at private homes questioning vaccine papers," Feaman wrote on July 20. Feaman also supported the QAnon bitch, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

CNN reached out to Feaman and the RNC for comment multiple times but neither responded.

On Sunday, Florida broke its record for coronavirus hospitalizations just one day after the state recorded the most new daily Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.

On Thursday, Feaman attacked new US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance suggesting wearing masks indoors in places with high rates of Delta variant transmission.

In addition to peddling medical misinformation, Feaman spread conspiracy theories. He pushed the falsehood that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, peddled Capitol insurrection conspiracies suggesting that the January 6 insurrection was a "set up to make the Trump folks look bad" and implied the event was a "false flag" operation carried about by Democrats to seize power.

This is yet another example of the sheer ignorance of those following Trump, their demonic cult leader. Feaman should be disbarred.

Citizen Trump objects to releasing tax returns

Ronald Fischetti, one of citizen Trump’s personal lawyers, said that Trump will challenge a recent U.S. Justice Department order that his tax returns should be turned over to a House of Representatives committee.

Twice-impeached Trump, the incompetent liar, cheat, and America’s #1 loser, thinks he’s special. FACT: He’s not.

Unlike all other recent presidents who had nothing illegal to hide, Trump will not publicly disclose his tax returns.

Trump is compared to cult leader by lawmaker wounded at Jonestown massacre

CNN reported that Rep. Jackie Speier, (D-CA), who was shot by members of the Peoples Temple during the 1978 Jonestown Massacre, says she sees similarities between cult leader Jim Jones and Trump in the way they use their charisma to connect with disillusioned Americans and act as "merchants of deceit." Speier was shot five times on an airstrip in Guyana while accompanying a lawmaker to investigate the nearby cult.

We’ve been saying that Trump is a demonic cult leader for a long time. Representative Speier’s comments merely reflect what we already know.

Anti-Vaxxers Are Now Thinning The Herd

"If people are vaccinated, the transmission rate drops through the floor," President Biden said. “I know people talk about freedom, but I learned growing up … with freedom comes responsibility," Biden said. "The decision to be unvaccinated impacts someone else.”

The CDC is again recommending that Americans — regardless of Covid vaccination status — begin wearing masks again indoors because of the uptick in coronavirus rates nationwide. The Delta variant of Covid-19 is vicious, attacking those most vulnerable, namely those who are not vaccinated. The vaccine is safe, widely available and free of charge; yet the anti-vaxxers are still refusing to get protected, increasing the risk of infection for everyone.

No one can be either uninformed or misinformed in 2021 about either the dangers of Covid-19 or the benefits of being vaccinated, and now it’s the anti-vaxxers who are clearly responsible for the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the percentage of vaccinated Americans hovers around 49.6%. Hospitals are once again filling up with patients as the virus tears through those who are not vaccinated.

U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said that 99.5% of new Covid-19 deaths are now among the unvaccinated.

FACTS: The coronavirus kills. We have the vaccines. The vaccines are free. The vaccines work. The anti-vaxxers are very stupid people, and unfortunately stupidity is not illegal in the United States.

Hold Trump Accountable At Last!

The Daily Beast reported that Jennifer Weisselberg, Allen Weisselberg‘s ex-daughter-in-law, who’s been extremely helpful to Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office thus far, provided the Manhattan D.A.’s office with explosive information concerning Donald Trump’s involvement in the crimes his company and longtime employee have been accused of committing.

Bess Levin, columnist for Vanity Fair, asks whether, after literally decades of avoiding any and all consequences for a life of corruption that has included everything from inciting an attack on the U.S. Capitol to attempting to extort Ukraine, to allegedly directing his lawyer to violate campaign finance laws, to lying to the public about COVID-19, to allegedly stiffing hundreds of contractors, Trump is actually going to be held accountable for running a company accused of conspiracy, grand larceny, and multiple counts of tax fraud and falsifying records, among other things?

We certainly hope so.

On the one hand, Trump never has been held accountable, so why would anyone expect it to happen now? On the other hand, thanks to the work of Manhattan prosecutors and helpful witnesses, Trump appears to be closer than ever to a situation in which he spends numerous years in prison!

Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s former attorney, told NBC New York that he is “more than willing to go to jail,” but if he does, those who put him there will “suffer the consequences in heaven.”

Giuliani has been the subject of a lengthy federal investigation into his dealings as an “unregistered lobbyist for Ukraine” before the 2020 presidential election.

“I committed no crime, and if you think I committed a crime, you’re probably really stupid, because you don’t know who I am,” Giuliani said.

The New York appellate court suspended Giuliani’s law license “until further notice” in June, stating that he made “demonstrably false and misleading” statements about the 2020 election as Trump’s attorney, questioning the legitimacy of both the election as a whole as well as President Joe Biden’s win. In July, he was suspended from practicing law in Washington, D.C. by the District of Columbia’s highest court for the same reason.
