The biggest asshole in the United States — the mentally deranged malignant narcissist — is calling for nationwide protests if prosecutors investigating him "do anything illegal."

In his speech on Saturday, he linked the House Committee's investigation to his baseless claim that the 2020 election was rigged, which led to his January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. The 2020 election was determined by the courts to not be rigged.

Trump told the crowd in Conroe, Texas, "If these radical, vicious, racist prosecutors do anything wrong or illegal, I hope we are going to have in this country the biggest protest we have ever had in Washington DC, in New York, in Atlanta and elsewhere because our country and our elections are corrupt."

Trump is corrupt; our elections are not. A cowardly ex-president calling for citizens to rise up in protest for his personal, selfish gain is unconscionable. Trump, the twice-impeached, mentally deficient and delusional neo-Nazi, is a traitor to the United States of America. He needs to be tried and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

In his latest dictatorial move, Trump announced that he may give his Capitol insurrectionists pardons because "they are being treated so unfairly." Trump is very obviously mentally ill. John Dean, who served as White House counsel under Nixon, said, "This is beyond being a demagogue to the stuff of dictators. He is defying the rule of law. Failure to confront a tyrant only encourages bad behavior. If thinking Americans don't understand what Trump is doing and what the criminal justice system must do, we are all in big trouble!"

Another QAnon Cockroach Gets Prison

The Associated Press reported that a man who identified himself as a believer in the QAnon conspiracy theory was sentenced on Wednesday to three years and eight months in prison for assaulting police officers at the Capitol during last year's riot.

The insurrectionist, whose name we will not post here so he gets no free press time, called himself a "patriot," but U.S. District Judge John Bates, before handing down one of the longest prison sentences for a Capitol rioter so far, said, “The patriots were the police officers who were defending the Capitol building and our democratic values.”

This insurrectionist repeatedly assaulted police at the Capitol, throwing wood and an audio speaker at officers, and later bragged about his actions on social media, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Juman. “The defendant was not caught up in the violence. He sought it out,” Juman said.

The mentally twisted QAnon conspiracy theory centers on the baseless belief that Trump was waging a secret fight against a Satan-worshipping, child-sacrificing cabal of “deepstate” foes, prominent Democrats and Hollywood elites. Another core belief of QAnon adherents is that Trump would orchestrate mass arrests, military tribunals and executions of his enemies. QAnon has been linked to a string of violent crimes. The FBI has warned law enforcement that conspiracy theory-driven extremists have become a domestic terrorism threat.

QAnon conspiracists must be put down like the cockroaches that they are.

Will we recognize the United States if the Republicans steal control?

Timothy Snyder, history professor at Yale University and an expert on the rise of authoritarianism, spoke to Business Insider about what he sees as grave threats to democracy in the United States. This posting contains portions of that interview.

This history professor and author of a series of books on authoritarianism and the road to tyranny, looks at the United States these days and wonders if the country as we know it will still exist in a few years.

Snyder said the problem with Trump's failed coup, which is what January 6, 2021 was, is that it was practice for another coup. So what we're looking at now is a kind of slow-motion practice for a repetition of all of that, but this time with the legal parts of it more fully prepared. In the shadow of Trump's big lie, the red states are preparing the legal steps that will increase Trump's chances to be installed as president in his next coup attempt. And that in turn will lead to a terrible sort of conflict, the kind that we haven't seen before.

We're now in the same territory as the Great Depression and the Civil War. We're on historically dangerous territory. America doesn't look good right now, with its high degree of polarization, with its alternative reality, with the celebration of violence. We may be on the brink of some kind of civil conflict.

There are all kinds of comparisons. History doesn't repeat, but it does instruct. And it also instructs the traitors like Trump who are trying to undermine the rule of law. You have to have somebody who's absolutely ruthless, and Trump remains the worst of the worst.

People don't see that the combination of Trump's voter suppression and vote subversion tactics, along with his breaking all the rules, combined with Republican victories in both the House and the Senate, make the end of democracy in the US, unfortunately, conceivable.

Big, powerful systems that you don't think can come to an end can come to an end if you don't get a hold of the internal problems. Republicans think they can cheat their way into power. But is what they're then going to control be worth controlling? Will we even recognize it as the United States any more with the rogue Republicans in control?

For the sake of democracy, Trump, the neo-Nazi anarchist, must be stopped at all costs, using any means whatsoever.

Forged Documents Were Created By REPUBLICANS!

Trump's fake electors plot is imploding right in front of his face! It's now been revealed that Trump’s multi-state bid to steal the 2020 presidential election happened with the help of fraudulent electors.

Ten Wisconsin Republicans literally forged documents and impersonated electors to make it look like Trump had won their state so they could be substituted as the Wisconsin electors if Trump's January 6th plot worked.

Turns out it wasn't just Wisconsin! It was at least seven states where we've discovered forged documents created by Republicans. They actually created fake documents purporting to be the real certifications of them as electors, and the forged documents in all the states matched! It was a coordinated plot by none other than Trump cultist Rudy Giuliani and his conspirators!

Former Trump lawyer and campaign advisor Boris Epshteyn even brazenly admitted to Ari Melber on live TV on The Beat on MSNBC that he was in on the plot, saying "I was part of the process." Epshteyn personally tried to install the fake electors, which would override the lawful votes in that state. But he also said he didn't do it alone. Epshteyn said that Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani led it all.

Trump's ultimate plan was to commit mass voter fraud!

Vice President Mike Pence, however, wouldn't help stage a coup through fake electors.

So, more of the mechanics of Trump's devious plot to overthrow the election are still coming into view — a plot that Trump will assuredly try to put into play in the future.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' Wife Has Ties To Right-Wing Groups

Business Insider has reported that Virginia "Ginni" Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has ties to right-wing groups, including co-hosting a banquet where Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the Oath Keepers who is charged with seditious conspiracy in connection to Trump's Capitol riot, was featured.

Virginia Thomas' connections to right-wing groups and those involved in the Capitol riot comes on the heels of the Supreme Court denying Trump's request to block the January 6 house select committee from obtaining presidential records for their investigation, and where her husband issued the lone dissenting Supreme Court vote.

Bruce Green, a professor at Fordham specializing in legal ethics, said, "They look like a mom-and-pop political-hack group, where she does the political stuff and he does the judging."

Both Justice Thomas and his wife Virginia declined to be interviewed for the story.

According to journalistic chronicles and reports from humanitarian organizations, Rikers Island is a time bomb with 6,000 inmates crowded within its walls. Prison data reveals that half of the inmates have mental health problems, and in 2021 a dozen of them died behind bars. At least five prisoners took their own lives. Sounds like the perfect place for Trump to live out the rest of his days.

President Biden's Significant First Year Accomplishments

CBS News has reported on some of President Biden's accomplishments during his first year in office.

President Biden got 70% of Americans at least one COVID vaccine shot within his first seven months in office, by August 2nd, while Trump did nothing but allow the pandemic to spread.
The economy added a record 6.4 million jobs — an average of 537,000 jobs per month. Trump saw only 2.1 million jobs added during 2017, his first year in office.
The unemployment rate had fallen from 6.3% under Trump in January of 2021 to only 3.9% in December of 2021 under President Biden.
President Biden confirmed 41 federal circuit and district court judges, the highest number of any president since Ronald Reagan.
President Biden visited 27 states for presidential stops during his first year in office, with First Lady Jill Biden filling in the gap by visiting 12 more, many of them conservative, Trump-leaning states.
President Biden visited five foreign countries: the United Kingdom, Belgium, Switzerland, the Vatican City, and Italy.
There were 1.7 million migrant apprehensions at the southern border in fiscal year 2021, compared to 458,000 during fiscal year 2020 while Trump was in office.

CNN has reported that one of the documents that Trump fought to block from the January 6 select committee, which is investigating his attempts to subvert the 2020 election, was a draft executive order that would've directed the Secretary of Defense to "seize, collect, retain and analyze all machines, equipment, electronically stored information, and material records" related to his false claims of an international vote-rigging conspiracy to deprive him of a second term in the White House.

The draft also said the defense secretary could identify National Guard units to be federalized to help the effort, which would have been tantamount to a coup.

The draft executive order was dated December 16, 2020, which was two days after the Electoral College met in state capitals to formalize President Joe Biden's victory, dealing a huge blow to Trump's attempts to overturn the election.

Remember, Americans, this was just one of the documents that scumbag Trump fought to block from the January 6 select committee and to hide from the voters.

Cat's Got Weisselberg's Tongue

Business Insider has reported that Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg was unable to explain a financial discrepancy in how a Trump Organization property had been valued at $435 million, per documents from New York Attorney General Letitia James.

The Trump International Golf Club Scotland property was valued at $435.56 million in financial documents submitted by Trump in 2014. This represented an increase of more than double compared to its valuation the year before. But the cat's got Weisselberg's tongue and he simply can't remember the details about a $435 million dollar property. Yeah, right.

Last year Weisselberg was charged with offenses relating to an alleged tax fraud scheme at the Trump Organization. Predictably, he has denied any wrongdoing.

The New York Attorney General's documents were released after Trump vindictively sought to quash a subpoena from Attorney General James seeking testimony from himself, his son, Donald Trump Jr., and his daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Apples don't fall far from the tree. Just like with Trump himself, cheating, lying and deceit run not only in his family with his son Donald Jr. and his daughter Ivanka, but also within the Trump organization; and Weisselberg is proof.

Trump cultist Rudy Giuliani oversaw fake electors plot in 7 states

CNN has reported that Rudy Giuliani oversaw Trump's efforts in December 2020 to put forward illegitimate electors from seven states that Trump lost.

Giuliani and his allies coordinated the nuts-and-bolts of the process on a state-by-state level, lining up supporters to fill elector slots, securing meeting rooms in statehouses for the fake electors to meet on December 14, 2020, and circulating drafts of fake certificates that were ultimately sent to the National Archives.

Trump and some of his top advisers publicly encouraged an "alternate electors" scheme (read: "fake electors") in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada and New Mexico. But behind the scenes, Giuliani and Trump campaign officials actively choreographed the process.

Meshawn Maddock, one of the fake electors from Michigan, boasted at a recent event hosted by a local Republican organization that the Trump campaign directed the entire operation, saying, "We fought to seat the electors. The Trump campaign asked us to do that."

After Trump failed to stop battleground states from certifying Biden's victory, Trump campaign officials, led by Giuliani, launched its parallel effort to disrupt and undermine the Electoral College process. This included publicly promoting false claims of fraud, while quietly exploring the fast-diminishing avenues to overturn the results.

Trump hoped Republican legislators from the seven battleground states would replace Biden's authentic electors with the rogue GOP slate, and that Vice President Pence would seat those electors during the joint session of Congress on January 6.

Trump's illegal scheme didn't work.

This is the new Republican party, folks — cheaters, liars, and deceivers — no longer upholders of the Constitution of the United States.

The University of Rhode Island Board of Trustees said that they were revoking Giuliani's honorary degree following a review by the Honorary Degree Committee. The committee cited Giuliani’s participation at the Jan. 6 rally that precipitated the attack by a mob of Trump supporters at the Capitol, saying Giuliani “encouraged domestic terrorist behavior aimed at preventing Congress from certifying the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.”

Even The Supreme Court Ruled Against Trump

Even the Supreme Court that Trump stacked in his favor refused to block the release of his White House documents to the House January 6 committee, representing a huge defeat for Trump's frantic and baseless efforts to cover up his 2021 coup attempt. This was the highest rebuking of Trump's attempts to use the high court for his own political gain and will allow the committee to go even deeper inside Trump's West Wing and understand what was going on before and during his mob's attack on the US Capitol.

CNN has reported that this Supreme Court ruling will also likely be viewed by Trump as a betrayal by the court's conservative majority, which he cemented with three picks for the top bench whom he myopically saw as a legal insurance policy as he's continually sought to bend governing institutions to avoid accountability.

The court's order means that more than 700 documents will be transferred to Congress that could shed light on the events leading up to Trump's 1/6/21 insurrection when hundreds of rioters converged on the Capitol attempting to stop certification of the 2020 presidential election results.

"The Supreme Court's action tonight is a victory for the rule of law and American democracy," said Reps. Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney — who are chair and vice chair of the panel — in a joint statement.

White House spokesman Mike Gwin said in a statement after the ruling that Trump's "actions represented a unique and existential threat to our democracy."

The Supreme Court's order is a major blow to Trump. The order could also send a signal to other witnesses that they have very little ability to challenge January 6-related subpoenas on executive privilege grounds, potentially opening the possibility for more former White House officials to testify.

Everyone knows Trump triggered the insurrection. The more important question that the public should be hoping gets answered now, and where the political stakes are much higher, is the extent to which the other members of the GOP were involved in the insurrection. The public needs to know to what extent, if any, the legislators who have been elected and swore to uphold the Constitution knew of a threat to breach the Capitol. They are a significant threat to democracy.

Trump's insurrection at the Capitol on 1/6/21 was only the dress rehearsal for its next "terrorist event," namely the Republicans' suppression of voters' right to vote.

Reuters has reported that Texas election officials have already rejected hundreds of mail-in ballot applications, abiding by a new Republican-backed law just weeks before a March 1 primary kicks off this year's U.S. election cycle.

Lawmakers in Texas approved a raft of voting restrictions, one of many efforts in Republican-controlled states to pass new limits after Trump falsely claimed he lost the 2020 election because of widespread fraud. When incompetent Republicans can't win legitimately, these traitors will use illegal voter suppression to achieve their evil end result. When people's constitutional right to vote is deprived, it won't be long before we have civil war — exactly in line with Trump's reelection playbook so that he can re-emerge as the power-grabbing autocratic dictator. That will be the end of democracy.

Democrat Dana DeBeauvoir, the Travis County clerk, told reporters, "My friends, this is what voter suppression looks like."

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said, “This is about one party, wanting the power to unilaterally rewrite the rulebook of American elections.”

Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Trump ass-sniffer who signed the bill into law and who is seeking re-election this year, has said the law, known as Senate Bill 1, will increase public trust in elections.

FACT: On January 6, 2021, throngs of Trump’s supporters violently stormed the Capitol, incited by Trump himself, with plans to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Mike Pence and others to stop them from certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s win. They smashed and stole federal property. They attacked police and journalists. They sent hundreds of lawmakers into hiding, and five people died during their insurrection.

FACT: Hours later, dozens of the same lawmakers who hid during Trump's attempted coup returned to the House and Senate floors and voted just as Trump wanted them to — to overturn the election results in his favor, based on lies about widespread voter fraud.

FACT: One of the most egregious attacks on democracy happened in plain sight and requires no investigation — it was when these 147 Republican spineless lawmakers cast their votes. Americans should not be fooled: The majority of Republicans in Congress, as respectable as they may try to sound after the fact, rejected democracy.

No one yet knows whether or not Trump is intending to make another grab at running for office, but that doesn't change the fact that tigers can't change the color of their stripes — these 147 legislators have shown their true colors and have no backbone of their own to stand up for the Constitution of the United States of America. Instead, these legislators have chosen to be cult members who follow Trump, the fascist pig, in their attempt at personal power grabs for reelection. If Trump decides not to run again, remember that these 147 spineless lawmakers haven't changed. Just because their cult leader may not make a run for office doesn't change the color of their stripes. Trump: Present Day Benedict Arnold

A recent contributor to the Los Angeles Times stated that the three biggest traitors in American history were Benedict Arnold, Jefferson Davis and Donald Trump.

Benedict Arnold served as a military officer during the Revolutionary War before he defected to the British side of the conflict in 1780 where he led the British army in battle against the soldiers whom he had once commanded, after which his name became synonymous with treason and betrayal.

Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederate States, represented Mississippi in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives before the American Civil War, and served as the United States Secretary of War from 1853 to 1857 under President Franklin Pierce. Davis had a reluctance to delegate responsibility, created feuds with powerful state governors and generals, selected old friends for military commands, had an inability to get along with people who disagreed with him, and showed resistance to public opinion. Texas Denies Voters Their Right To Vote

Republicans in Texas are denying voters their right to vote!

Gov. Greg Abbott (R) signed Senate Bill 1 into law, arguing that it was necessary to “solidify trust and confidence in the outcome of our elections by making it easier to vote and harder to cheat,” but his critics disagreed and took their complaints to federal court.

Election officials in Travis County, the fifth-most-populous county and home to the capital of Austin, cited the law’s recent changes to identification requirements in rejecting about half of the mail-in applications because of the state’s new voting restrictions enacted by Republicans. In Harris County, home to Houston, the state’s most populous city, about 16 percent of the applications have been rejected so far based on the Republicans' new rules of denying voters their right to vote.

Texas Republicans passed the bill establishing new limits on voting over the objections of Democrats, part of a wave of efforts by GOP-led states to impose new restrictions. Many in the Republican Party echoed Trump’s baseless claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election in arguing for the new restrictions.

The Justice Department filed a lawsuit, alleging that Texas' restrictions disenfranchise eligible voters — including older Americans and people with disabilities — and that they violate the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The bottom line is that after dozens of Trump's baseless lawsuits, no voter fraud was found in the 2020 election.

Republicans are scum, and this is further proof.

Defiant Jim Jordan refuses to cooperate

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said he won't cooperate with the Jan. 6 select committee investigating the U.S. Capitol riot.

Jordan had previously told the panel he would cooperate with its investigation, "but it now appears that the Trump team has persuaded him to try to hide the facts and circumstances of January 6th."

Republican Senator says there's No Evidence for Trump's election fraud claims

The Independent has reported that GOP senator Mike Rounds joined ABC’s This Week to dismiss the falsehoods that Trump and his loyalists within the Republican party continue to spread about his defeat.

"We simply did not win the election, as Republicans, for the presidency,” Rounds said on Sunday. Finally a Republican with common sense and a brain in his head.

Rounds then warned that Trump’s falsehoods only sought to undermine his own supporters’ confidence in US elections, while Democrats and independents who do not believe him continue to vote and participate in the system as normal.

"There were none of the irregularities which would have risen to the point where they would have changed the vote outcome in a single state," Rounds said. Those comments echo the statements made by top federal officials appointed by Trump himself, including former Secretary of State William Barr, who declared the 2020 election the most secure in US history.

Trump is a liar and a cheat. He knows it. We know it. The world knows it.

Can history tell us how this pandemic will end?

A number of compelling parallels have emerged between today's COVID-19 pandemic and the 1918 Spanish Flu:

100 years ago America had staggering income inequality.
A booming stock market.
Racial uprisings.
Anti-immigrant sentiment.
A one-term president plagued by scandals after he left office.

Sound familiar?

Pandemics (a disease affecting a large number of people in multiple countries or regions around the world, per the World Health Organization), epidemics (a disease affecting people in a country or region) and outbreaks (a sudden occurrence of an infectious disease) have plagued us throughout history.

The Spanish Flu was a particularly deadly strain of H1N1 influenza that first took root in the U.S. in Kansas. Unlike today's political and social infighting, there was "zero partisanship" over the virus in 1918. Half the people who died of the Spanish Flu were in their 20s and 30s. We didn't beat the Spanish Flu. We survived it. It torched through individual communities until it ran out of people to infect. Roughly 675,000 people in America died out of a population of 103.2 million — COVID-19 has already killed far more people. Flu vaccines wouldn't be developed until the 1930s and wouldn't become widely available for another decade after that.

Polio reached pandemic levels by the 1940s. There were more than 600,000 cases of polio in the United States in the 20th century, and nearly 60,000 deaths — a case fatality rate of 9.8%. Polio was highly contagious through oral-oral transmission (e.g. sharing a drinking glass). Polio was eradicated by a vaccine discovered in 1955, which proved to be 90% effective. There were no masses of polio anti-vaxxers. In fact, the polio vaccine campaign became a moment of national unity.

Smallpox is estimated to have killed more than 300 million people just in the 20th century. The case fatality rate is around 30%. In less than one month in the late 1940's, 6.35 million New Yorkers were vaccinated against smallpox, in a city of 7.8 million. The final toll of the New York outbreak: 12 cases of smallpox, resulting in only 2 deaths. The disease was eradicated by vaccines.

HIV/AIDS killed half of those who contracted it in the early 1980s within two years. Around 700,000 people in the U.S. have died of HIV-related illnesses in the 40 years since the disease appeared. In less than two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've already surpassed 800,000 COVID deaths.

SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) is caused by a coronavirus named SARS-CoV, or SARS-associated coronavirus. COVID-19 is caused by a virus so similar that it's called SARS-CoV-2. Unlike Trump's response to COVID-19, the response to SARS was robust and immediate. The WHO issued a global alert about an unknown and severe form of pneumonia in Asia on March 12, 2003. The CDC activated its Emergency Operations Center by March 14, and issued an alert for travelers entering the U.S. from Hong Kong and parts of China the very next day. Pandemic planning and guidance went into effect by the end of that month. That was completely opposite of how Trump mishandled COVID-19 by announcing it would disappear "like a miracle."

Swine Flu, another disease caused by the same type of influenza A H1N1 virus, infected about 60.8 million people in the U.S. from April 2009 to April 2010, with 274,304 hospitalizations and 12,469 deaths. The CDC and the Obama administration acted quickly and declared public health emergencies before the end of the first month, and 300,000 doses of liquid Tamiflu for children were released from the national pandemic stockpile. The first flu shots with H1N1 protections went into arms in October 2009 — within six months.

Ebola isn't transmitted in the air, and there's no asymptomatic spread. It spreads through the bodily fluids of people actively experiencing symptoms, either directly or through bedding and other objects they've touched. If you haven't been within three feet of a person with Ebola, you have almost no risk of getting it. An Ebola vaccine was approved by the FDA in 2019.

COVID-19 may be here to stay because it can be spread by people who don't even realize they have it, compounded by ignorant anti-vaxxers who are making a political issue out of a global health issue. Safe, effective and free vaccines have been developed that could stop this virus in its tracks, but the ignorant and defiant anti-vaxxers are now the primary cause of COVID's continued transmission.

Stephen Colbert has a song that took a shot at Congressional Republicans, calling them “147 treasonous dimwits.” It also mocked how Ted Cruz, 51, “cannot pull off a beard,” saying his facial hair looks like a dead skunk. The song wrapped up by commenting how Rudolph Giuliani “looked drunk” during the “unsuccessful coup” and that Donald Jr., 44, has the “IQ of 1.”

President Joe Biden delivered a speech on Thursday in which he blasted Trump for spreading the Big Lie and for failing to stop his supporters from storming the Capitol. “A former president who lies about this election and the mob who attacks this capitol could not be further away from the core American values,” said President Biden. “He’s not just the former president. He’s a defeated former president.”

Trump spent the anniversary of his traitorous insurrection watching President Biden lambast him on TV and fuming over it at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Aw, too bad. Trump belongs locked in a small cage for the rest of his life for his traitorous actions against the United States.

Trump will try again to deflect blame for his role in the insurrection at a COVID-spreading rally he's intending to hold in Arizona later this month. Trump is nothing but a pugnacious LOSER.

Trump, the nation's #1 Traitor, is playing the blame game yet again. This time he's blaming Fox News host Sean Hannity for suggesting days after the Capitol riot that he should stop claiming the election was rigged.

Trump eventually throws everyone under the bus for his own personal gain, including his most staunch supporters, in order to continue to propagate his Big Lie about election fraud and to try to absolve himself from any involvement in his traitorous insurrection of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. This is Trump's typical and predictable mode of operating. Trump, the sociopath, has no conscience.

The House select committee investigating the Capitol riot on Tuesday released texts sent by Hannity — a prominent supporter of Trump — to Trump's former aides, including Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff. One of the texts sent by Hannity to Meadows and Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan four days after the Capitol riot said: "[Trump] can't mention the election again. Ever. I did not have a good call with him today. And worse, I'm not sure what is left to do or say, and I don't like not knowing if it's truly understood. Ideas?"

Trump predictably disagreed with Hannity's text, but the facts are clear and prove Trump wrong once again.

Since leaving office, Trump continued to push the baseless claim that he lost the election to President Biden as a result of widespread voter fraud. Multiple lawsuits and election audits have failed to produce any evidence to back up his claims.

Trump is a vindictive autocrat who needs to be convicted of his crimes against America. He and his low-IQ cult members (aka "supporters") have corroded 246 years of democracy in our country.

Trump's Insurrection was one year ago today

"Without immediate action, we are at genuine risk of civil conflict and losing our precious democracy," said former President Jimmy Carter.

President Carter wrote that "promoters of the lie that the election was stolen have taken over one political party and stoked distrust in our electoral systems. I now fear that what we have fought so hard to achieve globally — the right to free, fair elections, unhindered by strongman politicians who seek nothing more than to grow their own power — has become dangerously fragile at home."

President Biden will mark the first anniversary of the January 6, 2021 insurrection by delivering remarks today focused on Trump's "singular responsibility" for the chaos and carnage that we all saw in the assault on our nation's Capitol. Biden will also push back on the lie spread by Trump and his attempt to mislead the American people and his own supporters as well as distract from his role and what happened. Biden will address the "silence and complacency" among the worthless Republican lawmakers since January 6th, as well as voting rights, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, noting that Trump "abused his office, undermined the Constitution and ignored his oath to the American people in an effort to amass more power for himself and his allies."

In reference to Trump, President Biden said, "His bruised ego matters more to him than our democracy or our Constitution, he can't accept he lost. He sees his own interest as more important than his country's interest and America's interest. You can't love your country only when you win."

Remember that Trump ran for president in 2016 expressly on the idea of putting "America first." He didn't. He only put himself first. Everything he did was for his own self-aggrandizement and personal gain at the expense of Americans.

Various news media outlets have reported that Trump canceled a press conference set for the first anniversary of his cult members' attack on the U.S. Capitol. Trump said in a statement yesterday that he would instead be discussing his grievances at a rally he has planned in Arizona later this month. Who cares about listening to more of this bonehead's baseless grievances?

Trump's been spending his post-presidency embroiled in baseless lawsuits and investigations, spreading more lies, and trying to inflict vengeance on legislators who voted to impeach him.

Trump abruptly canceled his Mar-a-Lago event, blaming "the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Democrats, two failed Republicans, and the Fake News Media." Trump is clearly a mentally deficient asshole. Legal experts said Trump's remarks would have run the risk of digging this reckless idiot into a deeper legal hole as he faces both criminal and congressional investigations.

"We can either be loyal to Donald Trump or we can be loyal to the Constitution, but we cannot be both," said Wyoming's Republican Rep. Liz Cheney during an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation."

Take your pick, Republicans. As Cheney notes, you simply can't be the servant of two masters — especially when those masters are directly contradicting one another. The Constitution — and those who adhere to it — is based on the peaceful transfer of power and the rule of law. The QAnon Bitch Gets Muzzled

Twitter has permanently suspended one of Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's Twitter accounts for "repeated violations of its COVID-19 misinformation policy." The Twitter account from which the QAnon Bitch was suspended from using had 465,000 users. Greene still has access to and can tweet from her official congressional account, which has more than 386,000 followers.

Greene's conspiracy theories have been called “a cancer” for the GOP and led the House to boot her from committees.

What kind of low-IQ people would follow the baseless conspiracy theories spewed forth by this incompetent traitor to America?

Twitter had previously temporarily restricted Greene's account for sharing misinformation about the 2020 presidential election and Covid-19, but this suspension is permanent, as it should be.

So, since Greene has been removed from all of her congressional committees and now has had her Twitter account permanently suspended, what does she do all day for the voters that elected her? She is of absolutely no value, isn't a contributor, and only collects a federal paycheck for doing nothing. Greene uses her platform not to legislate or move up the ranks of seniority or even to befriend colleagues, but rather to build her brand. And that brand is as an unrepentant defender of Trump and his "America First" policies.

This Asshole continues to perpetrate the "Big Lie"

Trump's next coup has already begun.

The information ecosystem, warped and manipulated by Trump, the evil demagogue and tyrannical autocrat, helped propagate and advance the false voter fraud claims that motivated the January 6th insurrection at the US Capitol. Trump was the primary driver of false voter fraud claims throughout 2020 and continuing to this day, and his record of incitements is well documented, but he was not alone. Trump used the relationship between elected political leaders, political pundits and partisan media outlets, as well as social media influencers who have used disinformation and other tactics to gain reputation and grow large audiences online to support his "Big Lie."

Case in point: former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell, known for advancing a variety of spurious claims that she subsequently admitted were indeed false, was second only to Trump himself in terms of retweets before and after the November 2020 election.

“History will record that in the summer and fall of 2020, at the peak of the most unusual and bitterly contested election in modern times, the president and his team made a sport of plucking minor incidents from local news feeds and distorting them into data points of a grand conspiracy to deny him a second term,” wrote Tim Alberta in Politico just before the election.

There are thousands of examples of Trump's false claims being propagated on right wing media.

Trump is an incessant liar and a swindler. He will manipulate anyone and everyone for his personal gain. He is an asshole that must be stopped by any and every means available.

Retired military general Steven M. Anderson blasted MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in an interview, while warning of the existence of Trump supporters within the military.

Anderson, who served in the US Army for 31 years, spoke about the upcoming 2024 elections and solutions to address the "extremism that has gone on within the military."

Lindell has become well known for spreading baseless voter fraud claims. The former general urged people to ignore such claims and "stop listening to the Pillow Guy" in an effort to educate themselves about how elections work. "We've got some people that just haven't been educated," said Anderson. "We need to do what we can do now to identify those people [within the military], get them out of our ranks, and train the rest of the force on civics one on one about how our country is supposed to work, how elections work, stop listening to the pillow guy [Lindell] and start learning about our country and how it's actually supposed to run," he added.

Lindell has claimed his first encounter with Trump back in 2016 came about through "divine appointments."

Lindell is yet another low-IQ Trump follower and cult member.

Elected officials realizing that they are "public servants" who work for the people, and not the other way around.
The elimination of tax loopholes for the rich so that they're forced to pay the same percentage of their income as the middle class.
The conviction and prosecution of Donald J. Trump, the malignant narcissist, as the traitor that he is so that he can never again run for any office in the land.

When she was recently asked about being vaccinated, she said the question is a violation of her HIPAA rights. The congresswoman was also removed from the Education and Budget committees in February due to her constant bigotry toward Black people, Muslims and Jews.
